I was on board right up until the lack of a VFO.

LoRA is a low data rate transfer protocol. Mainly used for long range internet of things devices.

lora is proprietary from one company
it appears to be a non starter as nobody has adopted it.

Just saw a review, it said the radio is 30 watts for HF, the tester said he was getting 20 watts and lower on the HF bands, not worth to buy.

I saw that.... This radio may get my money just got the review.... And the fact that the icom. Ic705 got pushed back
@@HAMRADIODUDE I'd wait for the IC-705, but it really bugs me that it has no antenna tuner. Just about everything it competes with does.
