BTW, some of the Caudillio events seem to be bugged in vanilla Vicky 3 and result in always increasing Caudillio support. In one of my games an interest leader died and was automatically and instantly replaced (which is normal) but one of the Caudillio events was simultaneously generated offering to replace the dead leader with a general and ignoring the new leader. All the dialog choices resulted in a 100 point increase, even though the event no longer made sense.
There were a few of those that I ran into. I'd be happy to know what the criteria are for monthly gain/loss numbers, as those were going up and down like a black box, no sense about why they were moving in a particular direction.
@@An_Economist_Plays The cascading tooltip is missing on that journal entry making it hard to find. I remember finding an explanation somewhere that indicated it increases if the military is in government or if other IGs in government have a leader with a jingoist (or another pro-military) ideology. Perhaps pacifist leaders reduce it?

Your shenanigans with the financial center in Mexico make me wonder how the 1.7 investment system is going to affect internal politics. Are "investing" countries gonna become the citadels of industrialists and aristocracy and "invested" countries see the raise of trade unions and rural folk 🤔
If the profits leave the nation and make people mad because they're in as much poverty as before, but now also have to deal with inflation, then it'll be spot on. And that will indeed get the pitchforks 'n' torches mob up in arms!

Man, it's all a game of distribution and getting picked up. I do a radio show where I play tons of oldies that are great sounding, but never went anywhere because they didn't have a big label picking them up. Best thing that helps me out truly is liking, commenting, and subscribing. Also telling me where to post links in groups that are interested in this stuff, that would help out heaps. :-)
@@An_Economist_Plays I often look around the victoria 3 subreddit and i think a lot of people there would be interested but i don't know if they allow self promotion (or promotion at all), you could look for the rules and post some of your videos there (or i could do it if self promotion is prohibited and you're okay with it)
