- Today I tore apart my old washing machine to get it out of the house piece by piece. Along the way I salvaged lots of interesting parts for future projects.
This video was inspired by other CZcamsrs doing really neat stuff with salvaged appliance parts. Check out the following:

👍🏽👍🏽 I just watched a Jeremy Feildings video right before this one.
Excellent. This throwaway society needs to re-purpose all the crap it throws away.
try a tread mill too.
Cool.
Hahahah.... I loved and laughed at your intro!
what if you, wanted to chill in the basement
but dennis said: useful for parts
I thought at first you took the wheels for the bandsaw out of a washing machine but they look a bit different now I see it. Did you buy the wheels for the bandsaw elsewhere?
In fact someone else thought that too, which partly inspired me to do this video. No, I bought the bandsaw wheels on eBay - they are from a craftsman 12" bandsaw.
ya. Nice big cheese grater.
You cant pick up s s screws with a magnet. If it sticks to it they are regular screws.
+Chris S good thinking, I'll try that
Some alloys such as 409 and 420 stainless can be attracted to magnets, az well as others that have been "cold worked".
I’d save everything
