In this video, i am ripping apart an old washing machine and guess what,
i found a lot of things I could use in my future projects.
I thought I should make a video and post it as a pointer to forth coming videos....and just for fun.

yeah...so true. Sometimes we don't get them in retail stores nearby. So like you said, I sort them out and store in them.
Those hose clamps are gem. They never get lose over time like the ones with screw tighting feature.
exactly, They stay on the pipe even after the hose is removed
I collected 2 old washing machines from my neighbour's rubbish dump......
and converted them into composting bins!!
the drainage plugs come in handy when compost tea is required for watering plants......

A motor from older washing machines is a prize, but moreso with Sixties and Seventies-vintage machines. It is not too different in size from what is used in a motor grinder.
Use the drum as a garden wood burning heater. By inverting the drive wheel and refitting it back on to the drum shaft, it becomes a sturdy base/stand. Now sit back and enjoy a Kings beer........or maybe some Fenni. :-) :-)

You could use the drum ad a bbq. If if you can reverse the motor you can use it as a generator....
not sure if I can reverse the motor and make it into a generator...it doesn't have magnets
You can use it for a swamp cooler motor
