Here’s a very important tip for people using analog. DO NOT hold the stick through the chest cutscenes, this will make your chocobo auto set in a certain direction on all of the chests because of the camera angle change. Let go of the stick in the middle of the cutscenes and point in the direction you want at the very moment you get back control. Please like this so more people know of this problem.

If you get the first chest at 7 or later, it will win at 35.1 and you cannot win with 5 chests. The most important part of the race is the first descending ramp: you need to go straight in the middle of the road, then try to avoid walls; in this case you will be able to get the first chest at 6.5/6.6. the second one need to be opened before 13, the third before 19, the fourth before 26 and the last before 34.

I'm having a mental breakdown with these birds. SquareSoft did this on purpose ugh. The one thing that really pisses me off is how the other Chocobo has his path all clean while we have poles to worry about lol but what really gets me is why the hell does our Chocobo have to cheer and party every time he opens a chest with that tiny jump before leaping off onto the next path adding like 2 seconds each time for the other fool to get ahead. I mean come on cheer and party all you want at the end of the race not during the fucking race.

Thank you for this video. I needed help with the route and the seemingly random finishing times of the other Chocobo. Got the trophy within about 20 minutes.
I have come to this video and like everyone else have gone through an absolute grind doing this! After reading multiple tips I have finally done it!! For me what worked was getting a consistent start and holding the analogue just above east. Hard to advise how to control the stick to the first chest as it is just micro adjustments and ensuring you can nail a straight line on the stretch going toward the chest. If you haven't kicked the chest as it is turning 7 you wont do this. If you are not sure then go for the second chest and if the yellow dot doesn't appear on the radar then you are good. If it does you have failed and my best advise is to just win the race and restart quick. The other key section is mainly the the last two corners up to the last chest. Want to be tight on them which is hard with the poles. I failed for about 1hr 30 and managed one run where I got on pace but then hit a pole. I was getting frustrated and put the game down until today. First couple of runs I nailed the pace but hit poles. Then hit the pace but was just getting edged out on the jump down. You know you got this when you can maintain a couple of on pace runs in a row. I read a comment saying you CAN hit poles and get the reward but you absolutely cannot as I did this several times. Hope this helps someone! Onto the lightning dodges!!!
I JUST COMPLETED THIS ON THE STEAM VERSION 4/6/2023 so it does still work. Thanks to absolutely everyone for the advice, I thought this was impossible. The only advice I have is it's really unbelievably important to touch the walls as little as possible, remember what direction to point your stick after every cutscene. The first 2 chests make or break the whole thing
@adriantovias8681 there's very little confirmation about the steam version, my research on reddit told me it was impossible. There can absolutely be small differences between ports and versions of a game across different platforms. Just trying to confirm for anyone else that had the same question.
for anyone curious - the opponent chocobo finishes the race at different times - in this video it seems it was doing about a 40 second time. Most of the time, it finishes with 35 seconds exactly, and this race is not possible to win at that time. You have to keep doing it over and over until you get lucky and get one of the two longer runs. There is one at 38 - possible but very hard, and one at 40.5?ish, that one is easy
There's no luck involved. The finishing time of the other chocobo is determined by how fast you get the first two chests. The first one has to be gotten within 6 and some odd seconds and the next one 13 and some odd seconds. If you're slower, the other chocobo will finish with a faster time, otherwise it will finish at around 39 seconds and leave you'll jump in front of it after getting the last chest.
I was doing it wrong for the last chest for over an hour xD. First try this method and got it xD. I kept going up the first ramp after the 4th. And barely missing it every time. I was wayyyyyy ahead with this method of using the 2nd ramp after the 4th. Thank you!
A humble aditional advice. If you see the chocobo after the second chest, you're going to lose... no matter how fast you get. What I did in such instances, is running towards the goal (ignoring the remaining chests) to practice the proper run and getting smoothly on that darn last curve... in wich I lost 2 times.
FINALLY! Thanks for the guide. Took around 20 tries for me. To anyone currently going through this hell: You gotta have a rare combination of luck and a near perfect run to win. The other chocobo finishes at random times, with certain runs being impossible to win. If you keep doing this route, trying to stay in the center of the lanes and taking the tightest corners possible, the other chocobo will eventually have a bad run and you'll win.
Every FF game has an impossible/annoying minigame. The fucking lightning is easier than this. But the jump rope in IX still takes the cake. I can't do this.
No luck is involved, it's always possible to win. The opponent's speed is determined by how quickly you get the first couple of chests. So long as you're going fast enough to win, he will be at his slowest speed (39 second finish).
I'm liking this video immediately because you've done the absolute impossible. I give up on this race, I can play the game without god damn wings of discovery forget it lol!
I’m getting it done faster than the video and I’m still not even close. I’m beating it at 38 seconds EVERY!! TIME!! I can’t do it any better. Seriously one of the worst things in ffx
By the way peeps there’s a one in three chance no matter what you do you can’t win getting all five chests. The enemy finish’s at different times, so you have to pay you will get 38 seconds.
That is wrong. It depends on how fast you get the first chest. Get thte first chest as fast as possible (i think you touch it less than 7 seconds) and you will always a 39 seconds.
@@michaelmorales1602 unfortunately it's been nearly a year so I cant remember the source, but i did eventually get all 5 chests. i dont think there is a real secret; you just need to watch the path in the video, and keep trying it until you get lucky. Does getting to the chest in under 7 seconds influence it? Maybe, maybe not but the answer ultimately doesn't matter because you should be trying to get to the first chest (and all chests) as quickly as possible regardless. it took me about 3 hours straight of playing to do it. TLDR: idk but good luck. it requires both skill (to finish quickly) and luck (to ensure the other racer doesnt finish first).
@@KanonHara I ended up playing for about 4 hours and finally got the 4 chests I was aiming for! I also had one premature celebration when I finished with 4 chests... but also hit 3 poles, so I didn't get the reward xD
Just as a PSA, if you are going for the platinum trophy you don't need to avoid the poles. Hit as many as you want, all you have to do is open the chests and win the race. Makes it a LITTLE bit easier
finally did it after 3 hours! Try switching between analog and D pad om different parts the race. I found coming out the gate all the way to the first chest was helpful and then switched to analog on the 2nd chest then back to D pad on the 3rd and then got nervous and just used analog the rest of the way.
I just did this in 30 minutes. You really do have to be perfect. The speed at which you grab the first two chests determines how fast the chocobo is and if you're too slow to get the 2nd one and you already see the yellow square on the map when opening it you will lose and might as well stop that attempt. After that it simply comes down to movement perfection.
I did it! after 3 hours. Please understand that the MAJOR factor is how fast you turn the 3 corners . When I made effort for that, i had to restart a lt of times from hitting the poles, but i also became much more consistent.
These chocobo side quests are killing me. I was 20 years younger the last time played this game and got all the weapons done, so I'm not sure whether to blame the horrible controls (PC remake) or just myself getting that much older! It's probably been said many times over in the comments, but if you're doing this for the _FIRST_ time, just run for the goal. Nevermind the chests, poles, whatnot. I kept at this for way longer I should've thinking I had to hit the chests in order to win, but the bird was almost immediately ahead of me every single time and I usually got the wonderfully motivating YOU LOST message before I even got to the third chest. When I just went for the goal it was instant win. Only works for the first time though.
thanks for this. it was like the one thing i couldn't remember how to do. P.S, the FFX/FFX2 remastered game is different from the original. went back to besaid after i beat yunalesca, and got destroyed when a dark aeon showed up and crushed me for trying to go back into the temple.
It's awkward indeed, you just need to get used to what it's going to do so that you're expecting it, iirc giving the stick a wiggle helped to regain better control over the chokobo too, as sometimes they seem to auto correct the route too much. You can see that in the vid when it does those sudden quick direction changes going along a straight path.
Because I've just bashed my head against this for an hour, the timings you basically need for each chest are: Chest 1: ~6.5s Chest 2: ~12.8s Chest 3: ~18.6s Chest 4: ~25.0s Chest 5: ~33.5s There may be some wiggle room depending on how the champion chocobo decides to race. There seems to be some weight behind the idea of the first 2 chests setting its pace. Good luck gamers, this mini game blows!!
What kills me is that you have to get all five boxes AND get there before the opposing chocobo does! Leave it to Square . . . Everything must be perfect
So here is what I noticed playing this on steam with a switch pro controller. If you don’t open that first chest within 7 seconds the other bird will win the race at 25.1 seconds. I have done 50+ tries and every time I was over 7 seconds it was a quick race but when I got to the chest at 6.5 the other bird was slower. SO! It appears the most import part of the race is in those first few seconds. GL and HF. (Not sure if this helps anyone but I found using the d pad to be much easier to control the chocobo than the control stick. Control stick got me at or above 7 seconds where as the d pad got me to 6.5 consistently)
Come things you need to know about the trophy : You can try and retry as many as you want even after having the mirror. You still can have the trophy even if you hit a pole ;)
For me the d pad was a lot better thn the stick.. after specific jumps its important to hold the direction you need to be going.. for ex. The first 3 jumps i help up (thn wiggling the dpad constantly to help with moving) the 4th jump i held right and kept wiggling the directions.. for me this helped a lil but it was still pretty hard plus u need to hope hes gonna do 40 secs.. if not its pointless.. i really hated this lol
anybody explain what the items i get from this race ? it says stars and if you do it again you got something else but i dont know what are these items used for
They can be used when customising weapons and armour: Wings to Discovery (weapon) x50 = Triple AP. (armour) x30 = Break HP Limit. Pendulum (armour) x30 = Master Thief. Three Stars (weapon) x20 = One MP Cost. (armour) x30 = Break MP Limit. (aeon ability) x5 = Doublecast You can also use this with Rikku in battle to reduce party MP usage to 0. finalfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/List_of_Final_Fantasy_X_items
Thank you, now I know I don't care about succeeded on 5 chests no poles lol i can get all the poles and the trophy and not fuss on the item since I got the celetials
I just looked this up because i thought my path was just a second too short and low and behold he uses the same exact path but somehow jumps ahead of the other chocobo at the last chest instead of right beside him and then getting stuck behind him.
Ive done this on ps3 and ps4, now trying it on steam. I forgot how much difference there is between each race. for instance he will win the race at 28 seconds one time and 33 seconds the next. and i wont be able to catch him. I think the flags have alot to do with the timing. And that last jump after the 5th chest always pissed me off because you would be trying to hold left to get him to turn left and he wants to go right.
The horrendous controls and turning lockups are all that murder this minigame. If the camera didn't effect your inputs it would be a one shot for most people.
Thanks for the vid. I got the achievment on Xbox series s even though I hit two poles. Idk if it was a glitch but i thought I would throw it out there.
This is actually really easy once you realise you need to tilt the analogue stick repeatedly to avoid the sides, once I started doing that I did this 3 times in a row
@@Nopkllz It's been a while since I last did it, but as I recall you kinda just waggle the analogue stick instead of holding it straight. As the Chocobo often goes in it's own direction when you try to hold it straight, repeatedly inputting where you want it to go keeps it straighter than holding one direction, if that makes any sense. And you're all very welcome, glad it was helpful xD
Just to share how I got it in just under 2 hours (with a few successes which already guarantee the trophy, had to try a few more times to get the prizes cause I kept mess up the pole) with these tips: 1. Personally the best solution is combination of joystick and d-pad, route between chest 1-2 (because of the camera) and 3-4 (the movement does not respond to stick well and if you move the stick to the left deliberately it will yank into the wall which to me is not ideal) is easier done using d-pad while the rest will be much easier to control using the joystick to stay in the middle and thus optimize your time. The problem with using d-pad only is you have to constantly be pressing and switching the mushy buttons which can get a little fatigue over the course of the race, let alone multiple tries. 2. Its my theory regarding the 32 and 37/38 timing that the system seems to have randomly. Its not random and basically it depends on your first two chests, I have noticed that if your movement are not optimized for your route especially between chest 1-2 it will trigger the 32 second result (presumably to avoid having player wasting their effort?). Its just a theory though but from my experience whenever I have done the mentioned route well I have rarely seen the 32 second result from the other chocobo. 3. You need to open the 5th chest (chocobo kicking the chest) at approximately 33.7-34.1 sec to have a chance of moving in front of the other chocobo. This is again just an observation and you should not be thinking/looking about this at all if it affects your performance. Just a gauge on whether you are close to making it.
This cannot be beaten unless by the jump from the second chest the rival chocobo is behind you. I wish you could quit out if it wasn't in the right position but if you're paralleling the chocobo after the second jump it's a loss. If anyone can prove otherwise; I would like to see it. I can make it to the 5th chest nearly every time but it doesn't matter if he's been paralleling your path you'll lose as soon as you touch the ground. This is some RNG bottleneck to slow you down on purpose. Just gotta grind it out if you want it.
I got to the 3rd box right at 20 seconds like the video and my bird is still ahead of me. Whatd they put weights on the one your racing. He win before i barelt get to the 5th box
as far as i can tell there is nothing i am doing wrong, not hitting the sides, no polls, but the other chocobo is always ahead, FF10 might have the best story in the seires, but my god the end game is the worst

To get him to finish at 39 sec, u need to open first chest in 6.5 sec or less. The other chest slow him down too but it seems the first one is the only one dependent on time.
@@numnum7237 Yeah but the trouble is, I end up eating his ass at the finish line and can't get in front of him. I can consistently lose by the second it takes my stupid chocobo to do his celebratory jump after the fifth chest.
to spare other people's suffering, you don't need to avoid the poles in order to get the trophy. You won't get the prize, but as long as u beat the other chocobo and get 5 chests ur good !!!
@@marksantiago9841 No they really aren't. For 5 chests you get three stars something you will never ever use because neither break MP limit nor MP 1 are worth anything. You will never need MP1 because Yuna and Lulu get mp 1 anyway and for the harder fights you will alway mix freedom X which gives mp 0 for every active party member and which does not use three stars as an ingredient whatsoever. the 4 chest and 3 chest prizes are actually a lot more valuable
I'm such a fucking idiot, I've been trying to get 6 chests this whole time by accident, which I'm pretty sure is physically impossible, shit should be simpler now thanks dude
The thing that's total bs, is the last jump that brings you to the end.. that curve is unforgiving and if you arrive close the opposing chocobo, you bump into him and hes too fat to pass him
I've finished the game a few times on every console, just got it on Switch and I'm starting to think it's not possible to succeed on this one. No matter how perfectly straight you keep your chocobo, it doesn't seem to want to make it. I've been trying for hours even though I usually nail it pretty quickly, I think the joystick just wasn't made for that type of precision. Besides, the other chocobo used to get to the finish line I 35 seconds and now it does a 33.3 which is infuriating because at your best, it passed right by you on the finish line.
Misery! That's what you choosen. Try this win the first round round hitting some poles and 5 chest, then do it flawless no poles and 5 chest worked for me
So apparently you can still get the trophy if you touch some of the poles, but you will not get the good item reward. Been at this for hours, was sure this last run would have me lose since I touched a few poles between the 4th and 5th chest, I somehow won, got the trophy, but was only rewarded with a potion. Fml, I'm done for today
Yes, just got it. After so many tries, it seems the other chocobo would be so fast so I read a guide that you can actually hit the poles to save time with turning. I did that in the last chest and was able to get it finally!
this is actual rng BS. I followed the route and i got the final chest a 34 seconds like this guy but the other bird is already at the finish line by this time in my game.
Same. I managed to get the trophy but still hit two poles. It's ridiculous how even the tiniest sliver of a mistake results in either a loss, or a useless prize
Why does square have to put frustrating shit in the way of getting useful stuff? I got the 0.0 secs so I got tidus' celestial weapon fully powered up. But fuck this race.
Its pure luck, Just like the 4 -chest-run. I'm liking this video immediately because you've done the absolute impossible. I give up on this race, I can play the game without god damn wings of discovery forget it lol!
you only need to open 3 chests to get wings of discovery
I tried for months, opening chests in the right order but still failing.
Watched this, immediately got it at first try.
Hope I have the same luck. Haven't tried it in nearly 2 years..
I’m getting it done faster than the video and I’m still not even close. I’m beating it at 38 seconds EVERY!! TIME!! I can’t do it any better. Seriously one of the worst things in ffx
Been there. I consistently beat the video time and still end up landing on or just behind the bird in time to be bodyblocked down the last ramp.
These two are actually on to something. All other comments are useless lol
@@KanonHara I ALWAYS hit the chest right before 7 seconds, and I still keep getting 34 sec finish. Do you have a source?
How is it that on the PC version the enemy chocobo runs twice as fast and finishes about 5 seconds earlier than the PS4 version?
I just did this in 30 minutes.
You really do have to be perfect. The speed at which you grab the first two chests determines how fast the chocobo is and if you're too slow to get the 2nd one and you already see the yellow square on the map when opening it you will lose and might as well stop that attempt. After that it simply comes down to movement perfection.
Got it after about an hour. Felt amazing!
Does the enemy chocobo move faster in some races. Because that’s what it feels like. If so, that is so stupid because then it’s just a game of chance
I did it! after 3 hours. Please understand that the MAJOR factor is how fast you turn the 3 corners . When I made effort for that, i had to restart a lt of times from hitting the poles, but i also became much more consistent.
THE RNG Chocobo is the most annoying part of this challenge. Should be a straight up time trial
WHAT IS THE TRICK TO THIS?! At the very last chest I’m just a hair behind him and can’t shake past him no matter how hard I try
Don't take wide turns don't touch the sides
You need to be perfect
Stewie Griffin I finally completed it! :)
Shit, I've just done it thanks to the vid. Months I've been at it. Nice one 👍
thanks for this. it was like the one thing i couldn't remember how to do. P.S, the FFX/FFX2 remastered game is different from the original. went back to besaid after i beat yunalesca, and got destroyed when a dark aeon showed up and crushed me for trying to go back into the temple.
I believe it was just the US version that didn't have the dark aeons, Euro and I'm assuming Japan also ps2 ones had that already.
The camera changes fuck me up something terrible. Any advice for that?
It's awkward indeed, you just need to get used to what it's going to do so that you're expecting it, iirc giving the stick a wiggle helped to regain better control over the chokobo too, as sometimes they seem to auto correct the route too much. You can see that in the vid when it does those sudden quick direction changes going along a straight path.
I don't think it a camera, it a damn chocobo
Because I've just bashed my head against this for an hour, the timings you basically need for each chest are:
Chest 1: ~6.5s
Chest 2: ~12.8s
Chest 3: ~18.6s
Chest 4: ~25.0s
Chest 5: ~33.5s
There may be some wiggle room depending on how the champion chocobo decides to race.
Control stick got me at or above 7 seconds where as the d pad got me to 6.5 consistently)
thanks for your tipss.. finally finished with 5 chests!
@@thomaslimanjaya5110 congrats. I am glad that my tips were useful to someone :)
Come things you need to know about the trophy : You can try and retry as many as you want even after having the mirror. You still can have the trophy even if you hit a pole ;)
When you think tidus sun sigil was the hardest, this one enough to make you lost your sanity
For me the d pad was a lot better thn the stick.. after specific jumps its important to hold the direction you need to be going.. for ex. The first 3 jumps i help up (thn wiggling the dpad constantly to help with moving) the 4th jump i held right and kept wiggling the directions.. for me this helped a lil but it was still pretty hard plus u need to hope hes gonna do 40 secs.. if not its pointless.. i really hated this lol
anybody explain what the items i get from this race ? it says stars and if you do it again you got something else but i dont know what are these items used for
They can be used when customising weapons and armour:
Wings to Discovery (weapon) x50 = Triple AP. (armour) x30 = Break HP Limit.
Pendulum (armour) x30 = Master Thief.
Three Stars (weapon) x20 = One MP Cost. (armour) x30 = Break MP Limit. (aeon ability) x5 = Doublecast
You can also use this with Rikku in battle to reduce party MP usage to 0.

Thank you, now I know I don't care about succeeded on 5 chests no poles lol i can get all the poles and the trophy and not fuss on the item since I got the celetials
got it!; thank you
I just looked this up because i thought my path was just a second too short and low and behold he uses the same exact path but somehow jumps ahead of the other chocobo at the last chest instead of right beside him and then getting stuck behind him.
Idk if it was a glitch but i thought I would throw it out there.
yeah poles don't matter for the achievements/trophy, but do affect the items you get.
This is actually really easy once you realise you need to tilt the analogue stick repeatedly to avoid the sides, once I started doing that I did this 3 times in a row
Duuuude thank youu!!! I finaly made it thanks to that comment!!
That you very much I did it and got the trophy first try when you talked about yhusm thank you so much!
What fucking tilt, this vid is pure dogshit, explains nothing
@@Nopkllz It's been a while since I last did it, but as I recall you kinda just waggle the analogue stick instead of holding it straight. As the Chocobo often goes in it's own direction when you try to hold it straight, repeatedly inputting where you want it to go keeps it straighter than holding one direction, if that makes any sense. And you're all very welcome, glad it was helpful xD
@@NineBreakerUIXB what do you mean by not holding the analog stick straight?? if you do not hold straight, the chocobo doesn't move man
Just to share how I got it in just under 2 hours (with a few successes which already guarantee the trophy, had to try a few more times to get the prizes cause I kept mess up the pole) with these tips:
This song gives me the shudders
Every single time the chocobo blocks me as I get near the finish and it is impossible to pass it. And that's with me getting the lucky 42 second time
This cannot be beaten unless by the jump from the second chest the rival chocobo is behind you.
It's damn well challenging that's for sure
Best story? lol
Literally the game could be a 10 but the minigames make it a hard 5 for me
Can't even make it to the fifth chest without losing T.T
I get the fifth chest, chocobo jump and I still lose for race. Infuriating
Graeme Handley sane like why is it so slow for him but it finishes in like 33 seconds for me lol
@@FitnessPOG the other chocobo decides to walk at times at random
@@FitnessPOG it depends on when u open first chest. 6.5 secs or less and he will finish in 39 sec
Just finished this, yup there is definitely some luck involved, both the other chocobo and in your chocobo cooperating.
thank you i did it on my 20th attempt or so it, wasn't really that hard
Here you win at 39 seconds. I have the remastered and the cocobo finishes the race at 35 seconds. How are you getting 4 more seconds to finish??
hopefully the comment from @qiqqo helps
Guys, the trigger is the first chest. If you get it before 7 seconds, the other chocobo will get to the finish line at 39.6.
I once seen that other bird win in 28 secs...wtf
umm, so i did exactly that and the opponent was already at the finish line by the time i got the 5th chest, what the hell?
AcePlays there are a few set times the other chocobo finishes the race at. you can only get all 5 chests if it finishes at 39 seconds
Rng
THANK YOU 🙏🏻 for real this was agony
Whats the point the items are very important
I owe u my life
Fuck the trophy. I want three of my characters to never worry about MP again.
Well I was able to win the race, but not collecting all the chests. The chests raise your score but some of them slow you down.
I just skipped the chest and ran to the bottom, I just wanted the cloudy mirror anyway.
I'm such a fucking idiot, I've been trying to get 6 chests this whole time by accident, which I'm pretty sure is physically impossible, shit should be simpler now thanks dude
The thing that's total bs, is the last jump that brings you to the end.. that curve is unforgiving and if you arrive close the opposing chocobo, you bump into him and hes too fat to pass him
A good way to cut some time is to hug the corners when turning while avoiding the damn poles. It adds up
I've finished the game a few times on every console, just got it on Switch and I'm starting to think it's not possible to succeed on this one.
Everytime I get to the 3rd chest the other chocobo speeds up a lot. Before I can even reach the last chest it's already there.
GDom me too... 😭
I just got it. Thank you a lot!! 😁
Almost made it and my finger slipped off the analog stick at the VERY end.
Misery! That's what you choosen. Try this win the first round round hitting some poles and 5 chest, then do it flawless no poles and 5 chest worked for me
It is because of this and Catcher Chocobo that I HATE these freaking birds
in 2018 the opponent finish the race in 33 secs. it it impossible to win with 5 chests for me...
It's random whether he does a fast time or a slightly slower one I believe.
I think hitting poles speeds the opponent up. I just finished with 5 chests in the HD remaster. took me about an hour but i did it lol.
Nice one!
just run for 20 times in a row without hitting any poles. 33-34 seconds....
My chocobo won't jump in front of the other one at the very end
Guy in video-37 seconds
Me-23 seconds still too fucking slow
So apparently you can still get the trophy if you touch some of the poles, but you will not get the good item reward. Been at this for hours, was sure this last run would have me lose since I touched a few poles between the 4th and 5th chest, I somehow won, got the trophy, but was only rewarded with a potion. Fml, I'm done for today
I'm playing through ffx for the 3rd time and I'm currently doing this and I'm already 30 minutes deep Im slowly fading
I have heard that you can still get the trophy even if you hit the poles. Is that true ?
Yes, just got it. After so many tries, it seems the other chocobo would be so fast so I read a guide that you can actually hit the poles to save time with turning.
I did that in the last chest and was able to get it finally!
@@renrafael8673 congrats!
yeah, but iirc you don't get the items. Not sure.

I think it has a few set finish times, you have to keep trying until it does the slow one...
See, I knew this was the path. I just wanted to verify I was slow.
My computer wins at 35 seconds every single time. It’s crazy.
this is actual rng BS. I followed the route and i got the final chest a 34 seconds like this guy but the other bird is already at the finish line by this time in my game.
the other chocobo finish the race more faster :c
After multiple attempts, I'm simply not gonna try any more.. it's not worth my sanity
Same. I managed to get the trophy but still hit two poles. It's ridiculous how even the tiniest sliver of a mistake results in either a loss, or a useless prize

that's the case with all prizes, you can only get them once
