CROSSING THE NULLARBOR

Our camper becomes a mobile oasis as we journey towards South Australia to explore the Eyre Peninsula.

They would of been feral cats that woke you up. They hang out at the roadhouses and raid bins, also tourists feed the filthy bloody things.
If you drive the Nullabor at night you see heaps of them.
PS. Never stop in the small TRUCK stop areas. If you do, many of them have limestone tracks heading away into the desert and if you go down those for 500-600 metres you can usually find a nice flat campsite where you won't hear any traffic or refrigerated trailers

Great to see another cyclist crossing the paddock. Have been rained on two of the four times I've ridden across. Hoping for no rain next year for number 5. The Roe plain (bottom of the escarpment) used to be an ancient seabed and has seashells everywhere. You can see them on the road shoulder where they've been dug when the roads were built.

Hi guys, hope you are enjoying your trip. I crossed the Nullabor Saturday - Monday. with no rain (well two spits on the windscreen). Had a great trip across and now spending six days in Streaky Bay and loving it. I am working my to Qld from Perth . Have fun. 😀
