Had the same diagnosis back in 2007 all the same as you. The only difference I can’t grow nice beard like yours. I can stretch to chin whiskers and a tash. Radiation was brutal, chemo was ok. The not eating was a thing I dropped to 110 lbs from 265. Today my issues are facial drainage and heavy sinus mucus. I’m 62 now and very happy to be alive and living in the US with wife and son who is just about to graduate from U Mass Amherst. Stay well my friend.
I did radiation and chemo in 2004. About five years ago I started having difficulty swallowing certain types of food. A year later I couldn’t swallow at all and had to get a PEG tube. About a year ago, my speech became very difficult due to the lack of motion in my tongue

I did chemo & radiation too. Radiation was the worst part, the burns, mucus, inability to swallow or eat. Wouldn’t wish it on anybody.

I dealt with this last summer 2023 , 7 chemotherapy treatments and 35 radiation treatments. They wouldn’t do surgery.
