      My parents never allowed me to make much friends, and whenever I made friends, they always had some kind of problem with them, and asked me to break off the friendship. Now when my social skills are almost non-existent, they expect me to achieve total mastery in that, and be total social butterfly, out of nowhere, after years of getting bullied and isolation

      @@user-nq5hy7vn9k try getting into some form of martial arts. Most preferably bjj, judo or muay thai, or MMA.. Not onky you improve physically and mentally, but the friendship you make there is priceless. You learn a lot there. And trust me, as a person who had been bullied, abused and had to go through a tough time in life, muay thai and judo opened me the way to life and light.

      @Human finisher C'mon think logically, even if he had done top in delhi from iit (which i appreciate him a alot), my dream is also to get to iit but it does not mean i have to forget everything my friend, family and all the loved ones. I also agree that we have to sacrifice something to get to iit but ruining our whole childhood is not the answer. Sacrifice your free time and study 6-10 hrs a day and more but not by ruining your life

Because the first and foremost thing any good book teaches you is the way you interact with people and the surrounding . No matter how intellectual you are if you don't know how to interact with your surroundings you are dead from inside .
      I am nowhere close to his vast scientific knowledge but I am quite sure people will like to interact with me more than him . 😅

    11 yrs later we don't know where this boy is..... That's the dark side of our education system. People think that getting into an iit is everything but in the two years of preparation children forget who they really are and eventually drop out of these prestigious institutions. In 2019 alone 2400 student from all the iits combined dropped out and more than 50 committed suicide😔😔😔

      And he is happy with his life not because he is earning a lot but because he loves what he do and he is very very social person
      So according to me as(i have also cleared NDA examination and interview) clearing an examination is not a big deal but knowing the actual world and knowing the real meaning of life is that matters the most
      Note : Bhagtwat geeta is the best book of the world
      That's is book which gave me motivation in my hard times when i was going to suicide......

    I used to study with Sahal when I was preparing for IIT JEE. His mother taught us Biology and elementary chemistry. This guy was definitely a quiet person...but talk to him about astrophysics...you will think he was born with an encyclopedia in his system.

    As a topper I was a back bencher who did nothing except mischief.
    Self Study was my path to top in all my school exam but I had a lot of fun more . 💯 Times more than what a topper does. I enjoyed as well as gained knowledge and expanded my comfort zone so enjoy man

      He literally lost his soul
      He is so silent and has weak interpersonal and communication skills. If he would have gone to school , he would have made friends , developed many skills and could have even study. Home teaching was literally the worst decision that her mother took. It's nice that he would be achieving many things now but he missed so many things a child could experience :(

    We need a genius like Richard Feynman who can inspire many people. I really feel for this kid. He published some research papers in US. I have gone through all his papers. It is just another research paper and not some path-breaking work. This kind of work many people are doing around the world without having the tag of genius or losing any of their personal life. I think even to be successful in a research career one needs to be good at socializing.

    Seems like he is of almost same age (I am bit younger) as of mine. I am in top 50 world university doing research and he is at Stony brooks which is a mediocre US university.
    I was probably playing cricke all day when he was studying for IIT. Never had internet, TV, phone being from a poor family who struggled to have 2 meals a day. But I never cared about the rat race. I loved the subject. I still do and always will do so.
    Life is not a competition, it is to be enjoyed, loved and all the world will be in awe of you.
