This is a good reminder to always save the sprocket when I change my bike's transmission chain. This is an original build and the execution looks simple but effective. Cool video as always.

Awesome flail. We used to make mace we would use the circle blades from a old combine or swasser we used them for eliminating Badgers when they destroy ditches. Pretty simple concept 2 ft long piece of steel pipe was four of the sickle tooth welded to them a lot of times we would load them at a angle the handle was usually wrapped at the end with leather and it would have a ring put on the back was a leather strap. Very vicious Little Weapon keep up the awesome videos we love them

The most important point in making a flail is to keep the chain short enough that the head doesn't smack you in the hand. If your shop is as short of all the nice equipment used here as mine, I would note that a Master lock makes a good flail head.

I must garden too much. A flail Is a tool used to thresh wheat, other grains and herb seed. I use one for the lattermost.

The fact you're not putting much behind it and it does that much damage is scary. I can only imagine if that was a person the damage it would cause.

I know some people I would love to test this out on. Would rather have it as a mace tho. After the rope dart incident I have an aversion to flexible weapons. You should try explaining how the dart inserted itself at that spot to the emergency room staff. Enjoy your honey moon sir. KY jelly, oysters, fried bull testicles, and aloe and you and the Mrs. Will be all set. And don’t hook the play swing to the ceiling fan. At best it falls. At worse it doesn’t turns on and spins you both round and round. Whole different sort of experience when your sex swing does that.

The chain, to some, might seem a bit short, but having messed with a morning star a bit meself, I can say that that is probably ideal for maintaining control, shock removal, entanglement, while not impossible to quickly disengage, and of a length that if the ball bounces off of the target, it won't come back and crush your hands. That's the mark of a solid design.
And that's not even to mention the ball! Heavy enough to deliver but still light enough to be quick and nimble. If I could stack dimes like that with a welder, I might not even grind then out.

So after watching what seems like dozens of your videos I realized your finger slide/sexy touch thing is very similar to what me and a few of my fellow mechanics do. Instead of sexy time touching we sniff everything 😂🤣. Example I pulled a water pump off a old Chevy truck and the first thing I do is smell it . My boss at the time brought it up in a safety meeting..." K, why do all three of you guys smell everything?" , " The other day I watched Rob sniff a water pump , a coil , two ball joints , a wiper blade and 16 spark plugs?" 😂😂😂

What a monstrous weapon! Definitely another winner. BTW -- What kind of bike did these sprockets come off of? Was it a motorbike? I don't think the bicycles I've ridden in the past have had anything so robust on them (admittedly it's been > 24 years since the last time I rode any kind of bicycle).
