I grew up with Hannah Montana, like alot of us. And I always loved when she'd sing with her father. I loved her father, period. His role, the fact that he's her actual dad, I just loved it. I always would wish I had a parent like him. My own dad passed away, my mom is terribly toxic, and my "step-dad" never wanted me. I'm an adult now, and coming back to these songs still give me comfort. Idk what can fill that hole, I've done plenty of therapy, I just don't know. But Miley and Billy's song give a sort of soothing feel, so I'll take it lol.
This song reminds me to stay strong when someone special to me passes. Right now, my horse is suffering and I have to put her down soon, and this helps me feel safe and know that my horse will be safe. Beautiful song!

She was chocolate brown tuxedo cat and the sweetest cat on earth, i’d cuddle her while watching tv and sleeping, she’d always rub on me for pets and scratches. I miss her so so much, she was my baby.

I just put my childhood dog of 14 years down and this was the song that resonates most with my situation. My dog's name was Molly and she was about 15 or so at the time of her passing, she was a great dog! Always happy and playful, she loved going for walks and playing with her nerf ball, sometimes when I was walking she would pick up sticks and toss them around for me to play with her... until a few months ago when she started getting sick, she didn't want to play with her toys and she'd get tired on her walks. We went though all the test and discovered that she had a cancerous tumor in her face that was affecting her sinuses, we tried all different medicines.... medicines to clear up her eyes and nose, medicines to stop the tumor from growing, pain medicines, everything. But she just kept getting worse and we couldn't watch her suffer. I just wish there was more we could have done for her, she was a great dog who brought my family years of joy, she will forever be in our hearts.
My dog was put down in 2019 she had a heart murmur which is usually what takes out that breed of dog but she was so sweet her name was Barbie but I called her potato sometimes and she would still come she never bit you could put your hand in her mouth and she wouldn’t bite down but I would be face to face with he and she would lick my nose and before we put her down she was having troubling breathing but she licked my face one last time
We are putting our cat to sleep next week...she has cancer. This song brings me some comfort as well. I plan to make a tribute video for her with this song

I hate it when people tell me that I should stop listening to Hannah Montana because she is a fictional character created by Disney that was meant for Miley Cyrus, and I say that I won't give up Hannah because even though I love the new Miley, because she is finally happy of who she is, I still want to get a glimpse of who she was before she made her wonderful evolution into the smart, young woman that she is now. I have watched Hannah Montana ever since the premiere (March 24, 2006), so I am 13 years old right now. I was 3 at the time, but I watched it from its series premiere all the way to its finale. It brings me back to my childhood, before my teenage years were totally destroyed. So knowing that I can still go back and reminisce and listen to this type of music, it is so nostalgic because this was the type of stuff that made me smile when I was little, and trust me, I need to smile every once in a while. This song is so emotional because it talks about the fact that if you really love someone, the right kind of love is when you let it go, and be free. Even though there is a part when you have to grieve and mourn, you realize that you made the right decision. I need this song so much in my life, because it makes me realize that when I get older, and if I ever find love, I won't just be the clingy type, and I will let her/him go because I trust them, or if a person that I hold close to my heart, were to fall into a severe illness or pass away, I know that eventually, I will have to accept the terms, and move on with my life, even though I will think of them for the rest of my life. Although I love Hannah/Miley this song has a more sentimental feeling to me than it has ever before... See I haven’t really had a good experience with guys... Not even my own dad stuck around after I turned 5 (honestly I blame him for this issue I’m about to mention.)... So anyways 15 months ago my aunt came back into my life permanently, and along came her new husband... Her husband and I have such similar personalities we just instantly clicked... Flash forward probably 13 months later during all this time I got to know her husband, and get close. So close in fact that this man who was once a complete stranger became my uncle, my buddy, and most importantly my father figure... So July of 2018 there’s a family reunion in Georgia that he goes to and will be gone for a few days (keep in mind we live in California so that’s a pretty far distance.) I remember being really scared, and sad thinking he wasn’t gonna come back because that’s all I’d ever known from guys thus far... He did come back though and although he did those few days were probably the longest, and the most I’ve cried until I was safely in his arms again... So a few weeks later he goes to Texas for a job with his brother and again I cried... But guess what? He came home again, oh and was texting me a lot like he promised both trips! This last time he left I managed not to shed a single tear and he just came home this morning 🙂... Anyways during the hard few weeks I listened to this song a lot and I realized something... If I love him by trying to hold him back from what he needs/wants to do that’s not really a good kind of love at all... Although it still hurts like hell when he leaves because I love him, and just want my uncle I have to learn that it’s okay if/when he leaves temporarily because he’s not leaving me in general he just has to go do whatever, then he’ll be back home... He’s never broken any of his promises to me, and has always, always come home! So while it’s hard I have to now learn to love him with a so strong of a love that I can temporarily let go till he’s home again... I know he won’t leave me he chose to love me and take me under his wing... He didn’t have to do that but he chose to because he loves me... He hasn’t given me any reason to doubt him so I won’t... I’m glad he came into my life 🙂 he’s teaching me how to trust a man without even realizing it... uncle Billy if you’re reading this thank you for taking me under your wing, and loving me like your own 🙂 I love you so much 😘

My friend Dj Brower passed away on July 9th at age 21 due to cancer. Still to date I don't understand why so young. DJ was there when I needed him. It still hurts to know he's gone. RIP DJ
