- I had to know.... Maybe you were wondering too... How cool is the Sea-Doo Trixx and how fast is it? A normal person would find a friend with one and find out but since my friends act their age I had to go a different route.

Literally bought two (red and blue) new 2022 trixx after watching a bunch of yours and others videos and I gotta say these are the most fun you can have with clothes on. Your spark content is awesome!
Want to know a secret? 2022's are often the fastest models once tuned. This is likely due to the driveline changes from previous model years!
Try a stand up jet ski. Million times more fun

About how much more gas does the spark use after tune? I'm on the market for a new ski and was hoping to find one that would do 70 on the water, but I've heard the supercharged PWC can burn 18 gallons in about 45 mins, and these look so much more fun and remind me of the smaller skis I fell in love with as a younger man. I turned my 900 ace ho 3up into a trixx but the turbo woke it up big time. Downside is you can buy a trixx and trailer for what I have in upgrades.

you have to invite someone with a Yamaha Jetblaster (110 hp but more weight) to drag race with your tunned spark... also you have to check the Rear Exit Exhaust on NEW Sea-Doo Spark TRIXX by Wet Jet Performance

the trixx kit is the VTS box, Step wedges, and bars...that sit....its cheaper to diy it, i dont need the bars either so i will leave them out so it totals like $350 for the trixx conversion
Iv been looking at them as well. I feel like it would be better to but the spark and just but a then on it and the pegs and stuff. I’ll save a lot of money.

Yeah buddy! I’m glad I didn’t go with the trixx. Will do impeller upgrade. Then tune post warranty. $5700 for 2022 brand new bottom of the line base model spark. Will interesting the next couple years and the changes/ option they are making to the spark.
Older post - but I did this (actually warranty was up - said f*ck it) and have not regretted it. I've got 2 and did them both at the same time with Jet-X tunes.
Seems like trixx with the tune(maybe impeller upgrade?) is the catch all play.

Doing the wheels on the spark just feather in between five and 10 and you just like tap it just don’t hold it down throttle down
Great video. If you don’t mind me asking, how many hours were on the Trixx when you picked it up for 7k? Also was that with the trailer ? I’m buying a 2019 this week and have been trying to get an idea of what would be a fair price.
The trixx had like 70 hours on it with trailer. Prices continue to rise on used sparks so don’t use the video as a comparison.

I ended up pulling trigger on the Ski mentioned above and I think I did pretty well considering the current state of the market (to your point). 6k for a 19 3upp with 100 hours, a double trailer, and the BRP removable speaker. Your other video on how to change the plugs was a huge help as that & the oil were the first things I did. Hope you’re still enjoying yours. Thanks !
@@stevencrowley110yeah you got a good deal. I went to the dealership today 15.6k with trailer add ONS and warrenty. The MSRP base 3up trix is 8300 so it was kinda crazy to me. So I don't know if I'll honestly get it. I looked on Facebook and for anything that's not been trashed its like 8k with the trailer.
@@3lsforyou83just bought my 2023 spark trixx 3 up and the first price sheet they put in front of my was $14,300. I was shocked lol got them down to $12,400 with fees reg warranty and all.

i think that base model spark you tuned is just so much faster than the trix. prob time to tune the trix as well.
Your videos are quite high quality, if you started moto-vlogging you'd get a ton more views since jetskis are a smaller audience.

What was you top speed on the trixx, you either need a new wear ring or that impeller makes a hell of a difference
Trixx top speed was 47 or 48. Keep in mind the spark is tuned for 120 hp. The impeller makes a big difference. If you haven’t seen the videos on the spark watch them and you will see what a difference it makes.
@@therealjessescheel I seen it in this video 😳🤣, first video I've seen where a 90 raced a tuned 120, any other video is just a 90 tuned to 120 so no real grasp in the difference, this has me definitely wanting to do the tune and impeller on my trixx

Is it worth upgrading from a 90hp to a 110hp if I don’t do the impeller?
Depends how much hp means to you and your budget. The impeller changes the low end torque game dramatically. You’ll have the same top speed if tuned. I haven’t tuned the trixx cause imo it was good enough stock.
Her doing that is how you bust the side out if a spark. Ask me how I know lol

Dude I have 2 -2023 sea-do sparks 900 ,I don’t understand how you can put a programmer in one and run 50 with the programmer because mine are stock & they both run 50mph right now stock . So help me understand this you mean to tell me your Sea-doo spark stock will only run 41 mph ?
the base spark only does 41. unless its had mods. the upper trims do 50 the tune will get you in the upper 50's to 60's.

You paid $7k for a 2019 last year , I can buy one here for 12k Australian for a 2024 brand new , that's including 10% GST , so about 11k without or about $7300 usd. Why not spend $300 -$1k more than for 4-5 years newer model wiith warranty and a brand spanker ?

Normally wouldn’t comment to an asinine comment but since you are obviously unaware and I don’t want you leading some poor viewer astray let me fix your statement.
VTS is a $200+ add on yes. That said the unit must have iBR already for it to be plug and play. A base like my spark without iBR requires much more.
A trixx has extended range VTS as well which goes up and down more then a standards spark VTS.
Good video, but I'm not sure why anyone picks a spark over a '96 XP?? I assume they just don't know about them? Almost double the HP, half the cost, and more maneuverable with the best power to weight ratio of any sit down ski to date. If you are moderately handy, the PWC king has already been crowned over 25 years ago.
I know nothing about the 96 XP. Was it made in 1996? That pry has a lot to do with it.
I agree lol. I had a 1995 XP800(year before MPEM). Absolute Unit. They had seadoo races in my area the last few years. They raced XP800s and sparks together. The sparks were getting lapped pretty quick.
Any 800 X4 is king. 951 and 1100 conversion X4s are beating 300hp skis too. Easily. Greatest ski ever made.
@mottbox Yes, I am lol. It destroys a Spark in every single metric except fuel consumption (if that even matters haha). The later model x4's have been ridiculously dependable. I'd gladly consider my '97 X4 more dependable at its age than a Spark is. The Spark is an excellent machine for what it is, but it's apples to oranges. You're talking fiberglass vs plastic.😂

My 2001 Sea Doo RX DI tops out at 63 mph and is 130 HP. I get the chicks riding on back because they have no idea what year it is, they just say “faster, faster!”
