thank you so much.. they arrested my BF and they placed NCO for 77years !!!! i went to court two days after it and I filed to recall NCO i do have court in two wks.. this is crazy i cannot believe they did that !
@Fatimah GH: Hopefully the NCO is only pretrial. Sometimes they put the expiration way out there so they do not have to renew it as the case goes along taking time.

Thank you so much for this. It's exactly what I'm going through now. I want to drop the order of protection, but the court want to issue a two year protection. I no longer feel like I need the protection and want it dropped. I was told to file a motion but have no idea how to start. I've called the DA, court, law library to see if someone could walk me through the steps. No luck at all. Do you have a video on how to file or draft a motion pertaining to this situation? I would really appreciate it. Basically how do I get heard in court?

Thank you for this..I have court coming up on the 26th cuz of an argument that happened between my baby dad and I..he was drinking and etc and got an no contact order hopefully it gets dropped so we can at least speak to each other for our son..
How long did it end up taking to drop the no contact or modify it?
I requested a non contact order to be drop and I was waiting for the letter but the probation detained my partner what should I do?
Why would a victim want the order dropped?
It seems like the courts are becoming more of a weapon and waste of time.

We should see what should be done as a collective ...if at least 5000 signatures and cases are assembled and imposed on legislature they have no choice but to take it in to motion...please contact me if you wish to make this a collective effort against these ill intended measures imposed by the legal system...they have stolen millions out of the pockets of people who have hard earned income...destroyed marriages and parental ties to children...these courts should be sued for millions in damages
I believe we can sue as a collective for millions in damages please be willing to contact with testimony to your situation...they are liars and thieves and should be sued for what they are doing to people

@@TheLanceLawyers this is another example of government over reach...when its either party of the dispute that desires to be with held from their lives....however the system that has been put in place allows for this to occur a maximum time should be set in place to allow the individuals to deflagrate from there frustration and redress the behavioural issues...however years have been lost...this is the point made...it is disproportional to what has been done within the confines of that dispute....
Good afternoon, I appreciate the educational video regarding this topic. I was issued the NCO 2 days ago in which both my girlfriend and I are totally against. This is my first arrest and first time within our relationship where an argument came to this point. I am enrolled in the mandatory class regarding domestic violence for next Friday plus we have already spoken about and planned to enroll into couples therapy prior to the incident. How soon are we able to fight against the order? We both know and can advocate that our particular situation has been misunderstood by authorities and the judge. Thank you in advance for your time.

I have the same thing too! In fact it was just five days ago and it’s a complete misunderstanding. I’m also expecting a child with my partner and so it’s very difficult having to have this no contact order especially all the plans we’ve made in our futures. This is the first arrest my partner has forgone so I’m hoping within your experience you’d like to share if you have gotten it off or worked through:)

What are the chances of getting the no contact order dropped against the defendant. Defendant is being charged with DV and has 8 charges against him from what I see.. with that said The court put a nco on defendant for 10yrs. I also did all the steps needed to get a court hearing. I now have court for this coming week and it will be the first time i go through this therefore any info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
