  • Week started out kind of slow due to rain but picked up on Thursday. Got 2 side jobs away from Marvin's land. 1st was digging 2 trenches to out buildings in a backyard. The next day I went to Marvin's and had to fix the fan on my canopy. The 2nd side job was at some friends house grinding stumps and adding slope to his back yard.

I had a Piranha tooth bar on my 2032R. Now I just ordered one for my 4052M. Awesome!

It's like it has turned my bucket into a completely different tool. Now I'm just looking for stuff to dig.

This is one of those projects where a backhoe would be nice. Yet, it is always easier for me to spend someone else's money vs my own. It is nice seeing you make do with what you have, which is how most of us have to tackle the jobs we have. Now if you have a good finance committee, maybe it will above a John Deere 35G Mini-excavator for you. Just think of all the fun you would have with that. One word of wisdom with your toothbar, they work great, but when you have it parked make sure your bucket is all the way down, those teeth hurt when you hit your shin on them and you will end up using some big boy words.

Yeah the backhoe at time of purchase was another 9k and I had no plans of doing that kind of digging on projects for fear of cutting power/water/cable/phone lines, for which I didn't want to pay to have to fix. Whew I'd hate to think of hitting my shin on that thing...ouch!
