This is my review about this January transfer: Hope many agreed with me.
Overall, I have seen Juventus as the top winners of all. They are able to move 2 of their unwanted players 1-Bentacur 10M profit 2- Kulusevski [break even 35M] and both went to our rival Spurs. WTF. They get the best deal in. 1- Vlahovic [75M] and we knew about him already because he was our top target. 2- Denis Zakaria a top CDM from M.bach at only 5M. Why didn't we go for him as plan B after Bruno???
The highest and biggest buy-in players is definitely Newcastle. We can already expect it based on their league position and their richest owner. Total 5 players in over 85M without add ons. I think they got good players in except I don't know about C.Wood with that price? They are also able to move out 8 of their players. The rest I think had a good transfer this window is 1- Man City [in Julian Alvarez 17M / out F.Torres 55M] 2- Barcelona [the same situation as Newcastle - need to improve their league position] - [in Auba [free], Adama [loan], F.Torres 55M].
3- Aston Villa [in Coutinho [loan], Chambers [2M], Lucas Digne [33M] and out Matt Target [loan].] 4- Liverpool [in Luis Diaz at only half price of his release clause 80M]. Why is Liverpool always damn good in the transfer market buy or sell? I never heard they ever lose money. 5- Everton [in Frank Lampard [manager], Mykolenko [28M], VD Beek [loan], Delle Alli and 3 more players] and [out L.Digne 33M]. And guess what? Frank Lampard just took 2 weeks after he signed as the manager to complete all these transfers. Maybe because he doesn't waste his time going to the US to watch hockey with the owner or summer vacation in Dubai.
6- Tottenham [in 2 Juve players and out Ndombelle [3M loan], Delle Ali [could be 40M], Spurs able to do all transfers in just less than a week. Other clubs I would rate as average. Total league/clubs spenders - England clubs - 1.1B, Itali 500M, Germany 415M, Spain 375M and France 270M. Now we come the best of all. The best club moved out of their players and did not sign anyone in this January window falls to ...........drum beat please........ 1- ARSENAL 2- MAN UTD. Bravo.... Bravo..... Allot of big signings but still allot of obvious problems that fans are overlooking- dele is allot like signing Walcott and iwobi in the past, aubemayangs professionalism has been questioned hundreds of times during arsenal stint, both Spurs signings are panics from a struggling team and Aaron Ramsey is heavily injury prone.
