Well, you guys asked, and I delivered. Here's Mortal Kombat 9's Story Mode done on Expert. All of this was combined into a 3+ hour long video with funny/corny text commentary and sound clips that I hope you guys will certainly enjoy. You'll notice a couple of things different in this video:
-I recently got a new computer along with a new editing studio. So not only do I have new and improved text formats, but I can place them in any position in the video without the frustration that I had with Pinnacle Studio. Speaking of which, if you guys enjoy how I'm placing the text in different spots, let me know so I know whether to keep doing it or not.
-In some chapters, you will notice that the cutscene to fighting transitions were edited in a weird way. This is because I backed out of the story mode at the time and practiced with a certain character to demonstrate more combos without doing the same ones over and over too much. I wanted to make this video as entertaining as possible. Please keep that in mind.
-In fights such as Johnny Cage vs. Sonya Blade, Cyrax vs. Johnny Cage, and Jade's chapter, some frame rate issues occurred. Therefore, I needed to rerecord that specific fight or chapter. At that time, I just recently got my new computer and software installed. Only thing was that with the recording software, the recording settings were not the same as the ones on the old computer. Because of that, the color of those clips may look different than all the other ones. And for that, I apologize. This whole "new computer" stuff was kinda unexpected.
That's pretty much all that is new with this video. I'll be posting some Injustice: Gods Among Us videos pretty soon when I get familiar with some of the characters. I'll still be doing some MK9 videos here and there as well, since there's some characters/combinations I would still like to demonstrate.

I always come back and watch this video from time to time, I remember watching this as a teenager and being blown away at how good Vman is at the game that not only does the campaign keep me interested but seeing the display of skill with each character

I'm so glad that you're such an expert at this game. It really enhances the experience. I've seen some playthroughs where it's just one poor combo spammed the entire time, so it's refreshing to see someone completely dominate on the hardest difficulty. You know each character so well, so it feels like the combatants themselves are really fighting, instead of just spamming projectiles or one overpowered move. Keep up the great work.
Positive vibes. But you could practice in mk9, most people don't even practicez but you could master it, I use to suck at mk9 when I was a kid, but now that I am 14, I practice lots of kharachters in mk11. (My main is liu kang btw)

I finally took the time to beat the story mode after never being able to do it when this game came out. Beat the whole thing on normal until the final fight... had to turn down the difficulty it was impossible. So watching you destroy the story on the hardest setting is very satisfying lol

Wanna know tha brilliance of this story mode run? Is that it has that movie quality feel to it and feels like tha perfect sendoff to tha series. Its almost like you were watchin one of your favorite tv series and a big movie to conclude it. Hell, even with tha easter egg of combos he does with certain characters says alot and shows how much he loved doin this. Especially with how he backed out to practice with certain characters to enhance more combos. For example, when he faught Noob Saibot in his Cyber Sub Zero run, he did tha same exact x-ray wall combo on him. He made sure it was consistent thru and thru. I'm sayin this man gave it his all and I remember bein blown away with how well this turned out tha first time I watched it back in tha day and glad its still up to this day. I'm glad more people are startin to tune in and tha 9.8 million views is well deserved. Really wish we still had tha Injustice story mode run still up because I literally only watched it once and lord knows how many views that would've gotten. Probably 10 million. Lol. But yea. What I want to know is how Shao Khan orders the execution of Katana, but Sheeva gets her ass beat over and over and is generally the worst guard ever and he doesn’t even demote her.
Well, Kitana was considered a traitor, which is worse than failing. Sheeva might actually have been demoted off screen and we wouldn't know it, or maybe Shao Kahn thought that she would be better used as a soldier than a guard, hence why she fights Kabal on Earthrealm rather than being with the others on Outworld after failing to guard Sonya and Kitana.
Fun fact: Reptile did get punishment for failing too much. The MKX comics reveals that he was beaten and almost executed after losing both Mortal Kombats if I recall, but Kotal Kahn (who at the time was one of Shao Kahn's generals) took pity on him or something like that. That's why Reptile is aligned with him rather than Mileena in MKX.
I have no idea of how Baraka kept his position intact after losing so much in this game though.

I genuinely feel like if Raiden had went to consult with the elder gods by himself, Liu Kang would’ve been strong enough to prevent all those deaths. He beat Shao Kahn for Christ sake, what’s stopping him from beating the shit out of Sindel before she can kill everyone? That one choice made all the difference, and for the worse.
