Thanks for the sensitive way you handled this episode, Tom.
❤️
Enjoying all your travel videos Tom. Thanks for showing us how organised Japan really is!
My pleasure, it’s such a delight as a foreigner experiencing it all ❤️
Fascinating to know that I stood where you stood with my sister when visiting Hiroshima in Japan. Very sobering, sadly when I went a very loud American man was mouthing off how the people deserved everything they got, which kind of spoilt it. My times in Japan have always been nothing but wonderful, wonderful sights, wonderful people, wonderful food, and so clean. Amazing reminders via your video diaries.
We’ve truly had a wonderful time in Japan so far - it’s been a delightful experience for our entire family - we will be back!
Hiroshima peace park is such an emotional place to visit To see the devastation caused is unbelievable and I just hope our kids never have to go through anything like that ever again Very lucky to live in Australia Cheers
It truly is a must see if the opportunity arises to visit Japan
Merry Christmas to you ,Joy and the kids Thanks for keeping us up to date about anything EV Cheers Allan@@LudicrousFeed
There’s a really good shop in the centre that sells house hold goods and has the best selection of Japanese knives at awesome prices, best souvenir I’ve ever bought gets used everyday , has real gremlins shop vibes 😉
Great tip! Next time I'm there ...
I liked Hiroshima, the trams & laneways with the small bars & shops give it a real Melbourne-vibe. And the History adds to the character of the City. Hope you managed to try some Hiroshima-style Okonomiyaki.
It seems that word is getting out how good value Japan is as a destination.
It truly is amazing value and super safe as a destination for a family holiday. Stay tuned for some okonomiyaki footage coming up ... 😋
Hi Tom
We use Dormy inn a hotel chain but lots of extras and Onsen at every hotel and free soy ramen in the evenings and we used Yamato as luggage transfer between hotels Japan is wonderful we have been a couple of times always something new to explore.
Enjoy
Woo good tip for next time thanks!
Tom love the trip vlogs. Did you know you can ask your hotel to send your luggage on to the next hotel. Do it 24 hours before. it’s super convenient
Good tip! Have to weigh up the cost between replacing the wheels vs the cost of the transfer 😁
Wasn't a street car named Desire was it? ;)
😁Love the public transport in Japan so much ❤️
do trams accept the ic card for payment? thanks. will be there next week. nice video btw.
Thanks! Yes you can use the IC card on the streetcars in Hiroshima
Is it possible to hire an EV to get around?
Last time I looked about 18 months ago none!
I haven't looked given public transport is so easy in the places we've visited so far
