That secondary bobber stopper will also help protect your knot from the weight 😏

Ballz always giving away my tricks lol..thought this was my secret. I do this to take the place of a Carolina rig and do the same thing and just put a elaztech bait on and use it in place of a dropshot.

  • @constantinekatsileros9574

OMG! Awesome idea and tip Mikey B.! This is especially cool for someone like me who can’t afford a rod & reel for every technique - Big Game Changer for a guy like me! Thank you so much for this and all the cool, meaningful fishing vids you put out! Tight lines bro!!

Guys have been using a rig up north like that since the late 80s, called a mojo rig. Great for fishing a suedo Carolina rig up on shallow grass. It uses a peg stop instead, but it's the same idea. I generally use torpedo weights for mine but a lot of the older guys finesse fish with this rig and a floating worm. Kills on a good amount of the lakes with smallmouth in Indiana when they push up into the 5-10ft range, especially on points or flats.

Great stuff Mikey. This hack also works with d drop shot. Have played with it for a while and it’s helped me. Can make quick adjustments and keep on fishing.

Bobber stoppers never work. Always slide.

At this point, why not just run a bottom bouncer set-up?

So your lazy to tie one on but willing to fix the position of the bobber stoppers every other cast?

  • @cuauhtemocbarragan9632

I tried that, and it will not work because when you swing that thing out there like crazy the weight will slide down to the bait 😢

  • @Garminrules
