    Taking it off curbs or jumps absolutely 0 issues💥

    I have this scooter. The ranges acceleration is extremely week. When going uphill it is horrible
    The throttle broke on me multiple times The spring keeps getting loose! I need a solution for this if anyone has.
    It only does about 19 mph

    I'm one of the backers on indigogo and I received this scooter. This is the secound scooter I ever owned. My first scooter was Razor exr which was good for the price. I was shopping for a scooter that had drum breaks and I was really considering the Emove touring but Emove touring has drum breaks only on the rear wheel only. While I usually only use the rear break, having two breaks is important because when I'm on the road and one of the breaks happen to malfunction it's good the have a backup just case.

    got my Splach recently as well, its sad to see that some users are reporting more than 22mph on their Ranger.... while i Have the Turbo and its only maxing out on 22mph (doesnt make sense). Although I am just as heavy as mentioned weight on this review (165lbs) and im talking about ideal situations (0% Flat Surface, Dry, no wind or from the rear).
    so imo, SPLACH has not been properly transparent about their advertised speed.
    good review tho! keep up the good work

    • @MELL09494
      @MELL09494 Před 3 lety +1

      It depends on the weight of the user. I have a Ranger and on max speed I went 26 miles with little stops.

    • @MELL09494
      @MELL09494 Před 3 lety +2

      I traveled from Hawthorne, CA to Santa monica and back with juice to spare for a couple of miles until the battery couldn't support me. This test drove me 39 miles on gear 1 which is about 13-15mph average speed. The trip took hours and my feet ached at the end 🥴 but I really wanted to test the true potential of this scooter. It was worth it.

    • @ESG-ElectricScooterGuide
      @ESG-ElectricScooterGuide  Před 3 lety +2

      Our range testing procedure includes tuning the scooter to the fastest modes. With scooters like this one that go ~22 miles per hour we normally have the throttle at 100%. Our range test got us 18.4 miles. To see all scooter range tests see electric-scooter.guide/comparisons/electric-scooter-performance-tests/

    If you haven’t purchased yet, please read!! I have posted this on the Indiegogo campaign 6 times and they deleted all comments to hide it from new buyers. A company should not hide an honest review of their products and services. Buyer beware!!
    On my first ride the brakes broke. Splach said they can send parts but I must pay $30 shipping. The scooter is much slower than advertised, Turbo gets to 19mph max (GPS speed). My girlfriend liked it so we got 2nd one: the wheel was stuck, steering was hard, front light had many burnt led bulbs and the lights stayed on when scooter is off. I shipped it back and for 2+ weeks only got excuses, they said it shipped but no scans on tracking!

    An inferior zero 9/dart for not much cheaper? Only real difference is worse performance, a kick plate, colors and better suspension. Don’t see the point of getting it there’s better scooters for 7-900$ unless your not trying to get the best bang for your buck.

    They have horrible customer service, if you post anything questioning the scooter like why do the turbo and ranger go the same speed when people are paying extra for the turbo to have a faster scooter they just block and delete your comment. You will then get a private message saying they have lawyers that will come after you since you lying about the scooter when the actual speed is down 25% of what they advertise. Scooter does have good suspension just beware of there customer service and know you will get less speed an range then they advertise.

  • @heykool69
    @heykool69 Před 3 lety

    The speed drops quite quick. And I can't even believe the company release a video of their claimed speed of 28 mph by showing a video of the scooter doing its speed while its running off the ground WITHOUT any fractions, weight, inclined on it.
    That tells you alot about the company's claim and products. DON'T BUY!!!

    And the name isn't really appealing, when i say it aloud, first thing that comes to mind is a splat on a wall. Not a good name for a e-scooter brand, if you know what I mean... Ofcourse, this is subjective and not important.
