OMGosh, I am sitting screaming here thru the screen!!! Is this the yummiest batch of scrap papers I've ever seen? This is a true junk journaling art! You might want to add some Gold to the mix, lol! I love it and love the grunginess of it. You are so talented and so creative Luisa. I love that you take chances and think outside the box and stick to your passion and love of junk journaling. That's what this craft is all about! hugs from Boston!
Iâm in Central MA! My daughter goes to School in Boston!đđ
@@ClaudiaBauman1111 I am in Boston near TD Garden! Another Claudia, Lol.
Lol I thought gold too but Iâm sure the splatters come after the design is finished using these amazing rejuvenated delicious scraps!
I too was screaming DO GOLD!!đđ
I can't believe there is no gold.
If itâs a mess, itâs a gorgeous mess! Thank you so much for always sharing with us your experiments and explaining how you think through it all. I am sure everybody else agrees that we are soooo lucky to have a teacher like you.
This was like a cooking show! :) I love the muted vintage purple! Another genius Heinzl idea!
Holy Moly!!! I could watch you do this all day long. I'm definitely going to try this. You didn't just jazz up your scraps, you took them to the moon and back! I don't know where you get these ideas but I can't wait for more!
SHUT the door!! I have never seen a more brilliant and innovative idea. Bravo Luise!! Those papers are drop-dead-gorgeous.â€ïžđ„°
Luise, this project has turned out beyond amazing!! Your the 'mad scientist' playing in her creative lab!! You so often take your art pieces at least 5 or 6 steps beyond where I would have stopped, thinking they looked fine. THATS what is so cool about your video lessons Luise. You always go above and beyond. Thank you ever so much for all of your shares!
You're totally right, Luise dares doing things without regarding if it will fail. That's the secret. Tru, experiment, make, remake and that all with pleasure, a huge fun. Thanks a lot Luise.
You are the only person I know that can make paper talk to our soul!!! I love how these turned out.
Bravo! đ In the junk journal laboratory with Luise! Brilliant!I think the biggest lesson is you canât mess this up enough! You canât make a mistake because the more messy the layers and then more layers and splashes and stamps equals voondabah masterpiece! Dr. Luise is in the paper lab and she is on fire! Beautiful grungy mess! I love it!
What a fabulous idea! I had a small pile of scraps and trims that I just couldn't throw away but they were cluttering up my table. Now they are quite beautiful and are awaiting duty on a collage. Thank you for this!
This feels like a great project for people who are learning to let go of control and perfection! This looks so fun! I would be totally tempted to toss all the finished pieces in the air like confetti đ€Ł These turned out great!
Iâve come back to tell that I jazzed up my scraps, like you share here, and not only did they come out great, I had a blast doing it. Thanks, Luise.
Your creative process is refreshing and fun like playing in the fall leaves is fun! Thank you so much!
Yes- thatâs a perfect analogy. I can image my kiddos ruffling piles of leaves just like she ruffles up her scraps- so FUN! đ
This was fun! The grandkids had friends overnight, and in the morning we began this with my scraps. We made a beautiful mess!!!!!!!!!!! Because there were so many of us, it took 4 hours. Thank you for the lovely fun
Yes, after awhile the same old scraps become boring and uninspiring. I also like the effect that the interaction between the coffee and gesso makes. Thanks for sharing your idea and this technique with us! ~Marci
OMG!!! MY SCRAPPY BOX WILL NEVER BE THE SAME!!
Mass making in the most fun and playful way ever. đ
I found this video due to a reference on Instagram. I love this idea! Especially in days you want to play with your supplies or use what you have in front of you. There is so much creativity in these scraps!
Wow! Making random color on a single is timely and often they look contrived. YOU HAVE OPENED MY EYES!! You rock and so generous to share. Thank you for all the time you push the limits.
This is awesome! Just playing with inks, stamps and scraps!! This to me is what junk journaling is all about. The freedom to explore and create with your supplies on hand. Thanks so much for sharing your process đđđ. The results are fabulous đ
These scraps could just be their own collage! I hope you made or will make photos of these in the stages of the process - they would be wonderful to print and use as MORE collage scraps! Genius. Love the way you get into your work with your "finger tools" and "feel" the mediums! Thank you for another great idea!
i loved the little nutty "talk to your scraps!" --you whispered in there!! yes!! we all do it!đ
What a fun, messy way to create awesome scraps. I love what you have done, and this video gives me so much inspiration. I love playing with scraps and it just got better for me.
Thank you for sharing your ideas and for the taking the time to show us. You are appreciated
I first watched this 8 months ago and am just as enchanted today. Beautiful papers!
I am now binge-watching your shows. I love your style and the way you teach. I consider you âThe Wizard of Glorious Grunge. â Thank you for sharing. You make me smile.
Fantastic ideas--do one--do them all--great way to jazz up a tired stash to be sure and what a great break from "deep thought"' crafting like page layout and color choices etc. Lookout scraps--here I come--dirty palette, strong coffee, multi-stamps and all đ tfs đ»
This is the coolest idea Iâve seen yet. Love, love, love it soooo much! I am a fan of purple. I absolutely love how muted that distress color ended up being after dried. It really goes so well with vintage browns. I chuckled in the beginning when you talk about your basket of scraps. I have bins and bins of scraps. Yes, I have paper issues. LOL! Now I need to find some time to try this. Hugs.
I enjoyed this video about how to use up scraps. The part of the video that I LOVED was when you breathed a heavy sigh and said, " There are those days when I'm totally in love with my own ideas!" Seriously, it made me smile because I know what that feels like. I'm in love with your idea too and will share it with others but probably not as humorously as you did. Thanks for sharing your valuable idea with us.
This was a fascinating crafty adventure. Youâre a scrap whisperer! Thanks for taking us along for the voyage.
I have half a small wash tub filled with boring scraps but after watching your video I realized I'm sitting on a gold mine! THANK YOU!! You da best!
"What if ... your scrap paper is boring?" đ SUBSCRIBED. You have captured my perpetual dilemma, Ms Luise. I will be binge watching all your gorgeous videos. The intro to your videos alone has my mouth watering for more... oh my goodness. Thank you so much. You are a gift to the world đ
Aww đ„° thank you so much â€ïž I highly appreciate your words and support!
you have an awesome arty brain luise!! these scraps are gorgeous and each piece is so interesting. thank you SO MUCH for sharing your neat process with us all.
I just put watered down coffee in a spray bottle and it worked well, too. Thank you so much for sharing this. Never had so much fun with my scraps
Wow, who would have thought? You are so cool! Very original and fun, and it is lovely to hear the excitement in your voice.
Danke, Luise! I too love using up every bit of my paint/materials! "Waste not, want not" The combo of coffee, ink & watered down gesso is beautiful!

Going to sort my scrap bin and make some yummy one - of- a - kind bits and piecesđ„°
MYOHMY!! This is just so fantastic!! I hope to one day be so brave to play this way. Thank you so much for sharing and encouraging all of us.
Thank you, Luise. This is a real time saver with lovely, artistic, results. My scrap pile will now be made into beautiful ephemera.
I love the serendipity of this process. The result cannot be totally controlled. Love this and will be trying this tomorrow.
I love that even though all of us aren't an artist like you, we learn sooooo much from your videos. AND we can do this also. Thanks a million and hugs from the mountains in Tennessee!!
Just found this. Fabulous idea and execution. Canât wait to try this. I do have the most boring scraps!
You did REALLY well on your pronunciation of the word âanonymousâ. Thatâs a hard one even for those whose first language is English. And while weâre on the topic Iâll add, if I were to try and make a video speaking German, it would be a silent video. So I think you should never feel like you have to apologize for not knowing an English word (of course not that it happened in this video. Just thinking of past videos.đ). Love the way this project turned out.
I must say the success was adding the purple color in the minimal amount, ALL of the testing was a success, your creative ideas are great. I love your approach to this "Mess" as you called it. It was fantastic!!
I loved this video Luise and the results were amazing, what a fun way to jazz up our scraps, thank you so much for the idea.
This is brilliant....YOU are brilliant and my favorite part of the whole video is when you said "There are those days where I am totally in love with my own ideas" You crack me up!! Thanks for sharing this great idea. I'm definitely going to be trying it.
My goodness! This is an awesome mess of paper! Who knew it could make us so happy? â€ïžđ
A fun video! When I look at these paper pieces, I canât help but think what great clusters they would make! Thanks so much! đ đ
I also glad Pam introduced you to us. You have so many different ideas.
I just have to say Luise you give me so much inspiration!! I watch this video last night and when I woke this morning I knew I had to try it.! I love it. I had so much fun & now I want to do all my scraps!! I love your creativity. Your also very funny. Thank you so much! Thanks for sharing your wonderful inspiration!
Oh Luise, that brain of yours! You know, I have a dear friend who looks at grungy things I show her and she actually winces. But we know, donât we, what true beauty is. Yum yum.
My brain just exploded! Thank you!
Very eclectic scraps now.
Loved the scrap that was folded over with the purple... gorgeous piece đ€
Thanks for the inspiration âŁïžđđč
Was just thinking I needed some more collage papers. These are gorgeous! Thank you so much for this great idea. What a hot mess!

This is totally awesome! What a great idea!! I can't wait to see how you use them now. đ
This is the most visually fun thing Iâve watched in awhile. And kids would Love to do this too!! So wonderful!
Oh my goodness!! To spend a day with you in your studio would be heaven on earth!! I loved the early parts where the scraps looked like a tossed salad, then it got better, and better, then the best. I think I need to buy more materials to get "in the game". I am a very plan/pattern oriented person--very little spontanaiety (SP!). I will try & see what I can do. Cant wait to watch & see what you did with all these beautiful little works of art/craft!
This would have been a good way to do the crazy challenge for the finger painting†love this thank you.
What fun. Makes me want to tear up some scraps and get playing!!
I am glad you are in loveđ„° with your own ideas, because so many of them you have shared are totally brilliant!đ§
Thank you so much for taking the time to do separate videos in English! â€â€â€đ
This was so much fun to watch, that I also watched the German version. Iâm glad I did because it was so satisfying to see you mix the box together with all the scraps together. They were so pretty to look at. I loved the still photos at the end. Thaaaaaaank you so muchđđđđđđđđđđ
Can't help feeling like a little girl playing while watching your video. Congrats, love your work. Greetings from Lima -Peru
Oooh vintage purple is a beautiful vintage color. đ I love this process. Thank you Luise! đč
Luise, it was so fun to watch you take scraps to a new level. Such a creative, artist you are. I never would have thought to splatter and stamp, then spray and splatter again. I loved the look of the dark coffee and gesso. I will have to try this. Blessings.

You are definitely a true genius! This is so amazing. My same color scraps are bigger and in a hanging file folder but I would go in and tear up several so I could try this.I have a small bench area in my boyfriends work shop so I would do your process there.

That's a pile of chaos!
A big gorgeous, grungy pile of chaos.â€â€â€
There were several times where I shouted out "That's enough! It's perfect the way it is!"
But you kept adding more coffee and ink.âđš
And more. And more.
And that's why you're Luise and I'm not. đ
I would have stopped way too soon.
It's so fun to watch your creative process.đđ»
Your creative brain works in amazing ways! Very unique and screams âtry thisâ .
So much fun! I must try. Thank you, as always, for great inspirations! ~Em

You crack me up! There are days I am am so in love with your ideas as well and that's most days!
This is awesome! My scraps donât speak to me either sometimes, so Iâll try your technique. Thank you!
This is the best video I have seen. I am a beginner and discovering how much great paper I actually have, and have saved piles of scraps, not really knowing how to use them. I had thought about decorating them but wasnât sure how, and this video gives me answers and ideas that are very helpful.
Words fail me...it's just so, so... incredibly you... Love it so much and gathering my scraps as I write this... lol.... Cheers for sharing your talent with us all Luise.... Blessings..

Luise this is amazing. You have such a wonderful imagination and come up great ideas. You made the papers speak to us. The colors say WOW I'm beautiful. Thanks for teaching us how to step out and create. Hugs đ€ to you.
Once again you have inspired me. I bet I have enough paper scraps to fill the back of a truck. I think I will use them but I donât because they are boring. Well⊠tomorrow we are supposed to get an accumulation of snow and ice so I shall spend ALL day with my scraps. Thank you so much for the inspiration.
These are really cool. My husband said it looks like a pile of junk. Obviously heâs not a journal maker. Thanks for sharing. Iâm a new subscriber
I just want to tell you how much I appreciate that you do this in English I understand it's not that easy but it's a little hard for me to understand German but I still watch your videos in German but again thank you very much
Thank you! This is a such a creative way to add character to our artwork.
Beautiful job! Thank you â€ïž
I want those long stamps SO bad!!!! đđđ What a great unique idea, once again! Bravo!
Do you know the brand of the long stamps?
I would love to have them too!
Iâve been reading through all these comments looking for the same. Those long stamps at 14:59 - the ones right before the Tim Holtz stamps. That one with the mushrooms was especially delightful.
Luise! I love how you jazzed up your scraps & all the very interesting details that happened in the process! I canât wait to see how you use them next!!! đ„°
I love this!!! I've been scrolling and scrolling looking for some fresh information and this is definitely it! I can't wait to try this! I know I have scraps but I may be digging through my crafty trash anyway!!! And I think maybe you stamped your finger đ *đââïž đââïž đââïž to my craft room as I type đââïž đââïž đââïž
