  • Another e-GMAT Review by GMAT 760 scorer - If there were a near-perfect tried and tested recipe for scoring a 99th percentile score on the GMAT in the first attempt, we believe Valentin's video interview would be it. Watch his interview where he reviews the e-GMAT course architecture and how data powered GMAT 760 score. Detailed interview - bit.ly/3kEqBC9
    Having a background in Management Consulting, Valentin understood that data could help him make steady progress to his target score. He also knew that data creates magic only when it is analyzed properly. So, even while preparing with books, a 620 score in his first mock test was enough to make him realize that his methods aren't yielding results.
    With this, he began his research for better resources and found the alternative in e-GMAT. In the next few months, Valentin made great use of the data and insights provided by the e-GMAT platform and went on the score a GMAT 760 (Q49, V45). 📜You can read his GMAT journey here - bit.ly/3kEqBC9
    Bonus Content: Valentin also shares his application strategy for Harvard Business School, and how he approached his HBS MBA Essays and Interview.

      Dear Esha - thanks for letting me know. We just edited the transcription. Auto transcription sometimes does that :(.

    Honestly asking ,
    Which is better ttp or e gmat ?

    • @egmat
      @egmat  Před 2 lety +1

      Ajit - In 2021, our students have reported twice as many 700+ scores than have students from TTP. Also, take a look at the number of CZcams interviews on both channels to understand why the student passion exists. Lastly, experience the technology on both platforms and see which one you like best.

    RC is a nightmare for me. How do I improve?

    • @egmat
      @egmat  Před 2 lety

      Hey Visswanath,
      You will find a lot of experts suggesting tricks and tips, such as skimming through the passage or reading selectively to solve RC questions. Some students even resort to reading the questions first and then searching for terms that the question contains. Unfortunately, these tricks DO NOT WORK on GMAT RC. At e-GMAT, we have a proper detailed approach and reading strategies that will help you improve your accuracy within optimal time.
      Moreover, to improve your reading skills, it's generally suggested that you read two books in a month. But, what if you don't have time to do that? What if you are not super informed and hate frequently tested topics on RC such as humanities, sciences, economics, etc.?
      Watch this session where we teach three reading strategies designed specifically for non-voracious readers - bit.ly/3u8RPFs.

    Archit, you need to stop interrupting Valentin and let him speak. He clearly is very structured in his sharing and needs very little moderation, but before he can expound further on his next point, you've interrupted him and proceeded to dispense your own advice. I apologize that this sounds harsh, but the audience is here primarily to hear him share his experience, not listen to your advice necessarily.

      @Emi - thank you for that feedback. I will convey the same to Archit :)
