How to make GROUNDNUT SOUP(Edo state style)

    Ingredients:
    * Goat meat or beef(Goat meat works best)
    * 1 knorr beef cube to season beef
    * 1 teaspoon salt
    * Small Handful of chopped onion
    * 1 cup Peanuts (this can be found in any local market or african food markets. Spanish raw peanuts also work.
    * 1 cup deboned bonga
    * Washed dried fish
    * 1/2 cup whole dried prawns
    * 2 tablespoons iru
    * 2 teaspoons uziza seed
    * One extra knorr cube
    * 1/2 teaspoon salt
    * 1 teaspoon pepper
    * 1 tablespoon washed bitterleaf.

    Really nice 👍 buh for Etsako people (in Edo state) palm oil is not optional. It’s actually necessary.

      @@mariatt293 most other africans dont even eat "soup" like this just the west African coast. Nobody in Tanzania is eating this or has even seen this before stop tryna make africa a monolith. Cultures vary by region

      I am Etsako as well.
      But we are allowed to twerk right? And I grew up seeing my Mummy an Etsako Princess peeling the back.

      No. You can use already roasted peanuts

    Am from Edo state ,This is not the way i prepared my own grandnut soup ooo. , I don't use too grand the grandnut with water instead with onions ND dried pepper ,,oil

    This is not Edo peanut soup. They use palm oil, and the peanut is ground with a dry grind, not wet. Please rename this soup. Misleading title

      It makes no difference if it’s dry grind or wet. Uziza seeds hardly dry blends smoothly. Plus if you watched the video, I mentioned you can add oil if you prefer, I’ve always made mine without oil added as peanut mostly fat. There’s absolutely nothing misleading about the title.

      Please encourage her efforts and she told us to use oil if we want it.
      This her method is exactly how I grew up to groundnut soup
