    I saw the movie & it was really good. I don’t know much of Aaron Sorkins work, but aside from his stellar writing, he’s a pretty good director.

    worst interviewer ever, missed opportunity with such an interesting person, almost seemed judgmental.

      Interesting person lmao. She clearly took a guilty plea so she wouldn't expose what her Hollywood celebrities would email and text her. In return they made her out to be a decent person.

    This is such a fascinating true story and Molly Bloom is a really interesting woman, but unfortunately this is not a very good interviewer. Can't wait to see the film.

    The interviewer reminds me of a professor I had that would talk to the class while looking away from the class. This interviewer at times was looking away from Molly while talking to Molly. Wild interview style.

    Molly is an admirable woman....notice how she doesn't dodge any questions or make any excuses for what happened to her...she has dignity, never sold out, never co-operated to get her money back by naming all the names...she only named those who had already been named by the hedge-fund guy who got busted...so she has great honesty and integrity

    I watched the film last night, excellent!! Having grown up in the gambling business her downfall was giving credit without backup. In the end it becomes monopoly money & some people who owe X amount just don't have the means to pay. Peace From London. 👍👍

    the interviewer seems to just be so very monotoned - really wish she would have been more ALIVE!! Molly is absolutely a brillant person - too bad she made that wrong move... mind you its probably a blessing in disguise!

    Seeing the film, the character molly says that a person lost his millions in poker, moved to another location and found some normal job and then hanged himself. gambling just ruins peoples lives while some people make money at the expense of the person going broke, quite sad.

  • @nataliesauer6915
    @nataliesauer6915 Před 6 lety +2

    Why all of the harsh comments on the interviewer? I found her thoroughly professional and capturing Molly's character well. I'm also grateful to her for putting forward the question of sexual harassment, one which I hadn't considered upon seeing the film. Perhaps viewers are simply bothered to see two intellectual women exchanging with each other, in a way that doesn't involve constant trivia and cackles?

      Roel Cyborg I think Molly is a Brilliant Strategist who intended to stay ethical, compromised integrity to fear because she vested in her volatile business personally, paid for it, learned from it and refused to compromise her name to anything. She is BRILLIANT, made an emotional mistake, and thankfully was not crucified for it. We can so learn from her. How she made something relatively small into a multi million dollar venture. Learn from her logic, strategy, and intelligence as most can be applied to what we do from a career perspective. Molly I may not agree with your choice of venture, but I am amazed by how you converted something tactical into strategy that ultimately built an empire.

    • @RoelCyborg
      @RoelCyborg Před 6 lety +1

      Hi Mireille Garabedian , Did you read the book , or seen the Movie , Molly's Game , > screenwriter( Director ) Aaron Sorkin pictured Molly's bibliographical story really genuine to the characters specially Molly's . I seen Aarons Master Class and he is extreme in detailing and analyzing the realness of a individual human characters in his writing .
      He told he was won over by Molly in his first meeting (basically amortization) for her genuine intelligence , strength ect
      And i have that too , in the first 5 min .
      she keeps true to her if you wanna call it ethics .always as a first , you know some people , its rare but they not sell there soul and self respect no mather what the forces or situation trows at them .
      What she provided is a private anonymous Gentlemens club where they had their private decadence gambling fun , and when it all fell down she did not go back on that , she did not undo the private ammonium-ness part by complying with they law case (government attack one her ) ,I know they gone beyond the law , like a total all out ,thinking for sure it would bring her to her knees and have her beging and giving , like it will do to everybody !
      but she stayed true to herself and surprised them whit something that they never had or had but lost ,> Ethics self respect and not comply no Mather what .
      If you see the movie , you'll see a super strong women , overcoming many and all things and deservedly end up on top.
      So life is not all about business /money hustle and bustle , its more about going thru life overcoming what it trows at ya and not to loosing who you are ,
      Outside of that Molly is a stunner , WoW !*_*!
      But you should see the Movie , once or a couple of times,, Thx for Comment greetings from Holland , Roeland

    Not to be sarcastic but when I was young I had no concept I'm taking a year off. A year off cement no food to eat. So when somebody can say I'm going to take a year off just thank your lucky stars that you are in that position. I respect Molly bloom but there are many people cool never being the same opportunity area that she was in because they just can't stop and take a year off. Not even a week off. Have a nice day

      I can say it's not that bad, but I can bet my life that charging a rake wasn't the only illegal thing she was doing. She clearly hired prostitutes and supplied drugs at her games. I bet they gave her a good name in Hollywood because she didn't expose what really happened.

    I'll never understand how she thinks her Family is like the crème da la crème of aristocracy. Okay, Olympians are pretty parallel with college athletes & playing only 2 years riding the bench in the NFL is not something to be over proud about. Dad was a shrink & an adulterer & the other brother is a Doctor (every injury I've had, I put myself back together). I don't think her family should be sticking their noses up at anyone.
