Of course brother! Hope this helped.
Amazing video brother! Super helpful!
Great video man… super enjoyable!

Glad you enjoyed. Any suggestions for other producer related content?
Bro, you gained a subscriber!!! That video was 🔥
Appreciate it!! I was super pumped about how the beat came out so I guess this translated into good video:)
great stuff ... learned mega lots cheers
Thank you bro! Glad this helped and hope you will make dope music with it.
Great video. Been hitting a slump but I think I know what the next steps are. Thank you
I’m glad this helped. Please let me know what other production topic you are interested in so I can plan for future videos for ya! Thanks for your support!
Thanks for the stereo shaper info, great vid.
You’re welcome! What kind of content are you interested in? Is there industry producers you’d like more tutorials on?
still just jumping from topic to topic haven't locked into anything yet. Keep up the good work.
@@themilesroarkexperiment1662 fair enough, feel free to let me know what you are struggling with in your journey as a producer, I will be posting a lot of beginner videos if that’s something you’re after
I had to subscribe too. I've been needing an example like this to give me some new ways of coming up with something a little more engaging for my tracks. I've never really been a sampler, but I'm about to be. Thanks.
I'm really glad this helped and inspired, keep creating bro! And in the meantime, if there's anything else you'd like to see on this channel, please share your thoughts, I will turn them into beats and content 👍
I've started recording weird sounds into my iPhone and my Galaxy phone. I have yet to begin using them, mainly because of the obstacles of transferring files without a dongle (which I don't have). But watching this video has sparked a new drive for me to get my sounds out of my phones and onto my production drives. I think I'm going to grab the FL Studio bundle now too??? 🤔🤪
I’m so glad this sparked inspiration! Back to the roots of sampling, it can be very liberating. A little file transfer hack I used: I would record on my phone and then email files to myself, or just save a draft with file attachments, then I would open my Gmail from computer and download.
DOPE video..
Glad you enjoyed and hope it helps a little too.
So fireeeee!!!
Thanks! Hope this helped and was entertaining!
Whewwww!!! I’m completely new to FL. I’ve been using native maschine mk2. You’ve definitely gained a new subscriber!!
Thank you! And Welcome fam! This channel will be providing content and freebies for beginners. Let’s grow together! And also, what kind of production tutorials would you like to see? Any specifics in regards with industry producers too? I will include in future vids.
cool man, nice video
Happy you enjoyed it!

Dope...subscribed.
Thank you for sub!
Dope bro
Thanks bro! I’m getting familiar with the audience. What other producers would you like breakdowns of? Or at least what are your favourite ones?
Really digging your channel my brother, just subscribed. 🎹♥️
Thanks G! New video soon!
💯 Thanks bro💥
No problem 👍 Hope this was helpful and fun!
More videos on starting beats with a percussive foundation please
Noted!
Sick skills🙀❤
Love from Denmark
Much love!
It is better to program your drums in Ableton rather than FL. For Timbaland effect drums you can use groove mode from Ableton. It is kinda good for melodies but not so perfect for the drum program
Interesting, I will look into that. Thanks for the gem!
Good Job
Thanks bro! I’m getting familiar with the audience. What other producers would you like breakdowns of? Or at least what are your favourite ones?
Funny the vocal hit actually sounds like timba himself. Great video!
Thank you bro!
Really cool video production! Too underrated
Thanks for noticing! I’ve been betting on quality over quantity, takes a long time to put these together. Hopefully, the video helped you with your music! Let me know when production topics you’d like to see covered on this channel.
@@imakeyoumove definitely yes, it helped!

I like the way you break it down with references bruv...😂
Thank you! I want to get to know my viewers while I’m building a community here. Are you an artist or producer? What style? And what kind of music content are you currently looking to see?
I would like to see you make a video of how the song "Her Light " by Cleo Sol was made.
I don’t really do song deconstructions like that. I mostly look into top industry producers and use their beatmaking techniques in my own production. However, I will be making videos cooking up soul sampled beats, those are probably my favs to make.
"african bongo" - this is a small Djembe.
Thanks for correcting!
no its darboka its from algeria @@imakeyoumove
@@imakeyoumovealso the rythm is algerian you can hear it in every rai song
Interesting, but it was marked as ‘African drum’ at the musical store where I bought it
And I was not trying to play any cultural rhythm, just jammed it until I liked what I played
Cool video! What about jungle music? I would be really happy if you made a video about this genre 🙏🙏
I could look into that.
Subbed, Great tips, and this beat is fire af brotha. I've been making beats and remixes for a handful of years now, does adding EQs and compressors to snares make a big difference for you? It's a technique i've never really seen, so I am just curious what your opinion is and how often d you do that?
Appreciate it bro! In this beat I layered so much, both kicks and snares, so eq and compression was inevitable, just to glue those stacks and make them sound cohesive. Other than that I normally don’t do this.
I layer my drums after my time I was using reason 5. Fl8 to reason 5 to logic but I still stack my drums like I did on reason because your limited on how many drums you can use like a old mpc step sequencer
Which daw do you consider best for drum programming?
VA producers for the win! :)
What’s VA producers?
Virginia! Had to look it up. Sorry mate, I’m from Canada so didn’t catch that at first lol
@@imakeyoumove lol. Yep. VA / DMV (DC , Maryland, Virginia) has some dope producers who changed the music game. 🥹🙌🏾
You just proved that, you can have all the tools and instructions BUT ...... There's a certain thing that comes from within. TIMBO has that thing.
I agree but only somewhat. Countless artists faced a lot of rejection in the early stages due to someone deciding the artist doesn’t have ‘the thing’. And yet they made it. Did they acquire ‘the thing’ down the road? Did they buy ‘the thing’? Was it handed to them? Or maybe they just polished the skill, studied, failed a bunch of times, then did it all over again many times? Let’s just say it’s way too outside of the scope of this video.
Amazing content dope beat, im also a Timbaland student, great presentation your skills are super sharp. #JODLD
I appreciate the comment brother! What other producers are you studying?
Damn man, the sound quality of the final track is insane... did you master it yourself? If you did... please make a tutorial xd
Thank you! On the master I had fruity compressor, soft clipper and limiter
Wow... thought there had to be some fancy process. Guess I need to get better at sound selection and mixing then XD
@@davidblaine4real yeah bro, keep it simple, I had to come to terms with that but honestly, this is so much better, you have all the tools in your daw
@@imakeyoumove That's honestly so nice to hear, seems a bit closer now... Thanks for the tips!
