The press and seal is a game changer for my paper crafts!! Having my paper lift from the transfer tape can be so frustrating, Thank you so much for making this video :) This was very helpful!
🙂🙂
Awesome, I'm so glad Tina! The Press N Seal is definitely a great alternative for paper crafts, I could see it saving a lot of heartache! ---Becky
Thank you for putting this to the test! So helpful
Thanks JnJ! ---Becky
I gave up trying to transfer my pantry labels until i could afford a more expensive transfer paper.
The press & seal in my pantry just did the job beautifully.
I can't thank you enough.
🙌 🙌 🙌
That's so great to hear the press & seal worked for you! 🤩
I would have never thought to use any of these except the contact paper! Great info!
Thanks so much Michelle! Always good to have extra info, that's for sure! ---Becky
Thanks a million for these ideas I’ve heard of but not seen work until you❤️❤️👍🏾👍🏾
Awesome Ruthshell! Hopefully you won't need them, but good info in case you do! ---Becky
Thanks. Just ordered the transfer tape for my first project, which I'll be trying out next week! 😊
You're welcome, we're happy to help! 😊 Let us know how it works for you!
Thank you! I was struggling with applying decal vinyl to glossy sticker paper! This is helpful! I think I will try press and seal, I have that on hand!
Glad it was helpful! ❤️ What other tips or tricks would you like to see?
Thanks for sharing!
Our pleasure! 😇
Way back when I started with contact paper and I love it still even over my transfer tape. Use a pin pen to lift the backing. I use transfer tape when I'm in a pinch lol
How funny! Great feedback, I'm glad the contact paper works so well for you! Definitely don't mess with a good thing! ---Becky
Painter's tape worked great. Thanks for the tip.
Great to hear! 😊 Cant' wait to see all your creations! 🤩
Awesome
I tried stencil tape - sort of a little less sticky than masking tape - and it works well too!
Thanks for the great tip 😃
The press and seal left little sticky spots on the holographic vinyl we were using today. It was difficult to remove without compromising the quality of the vinyl.
Oh no Rhonda, how disappointing. I guess I haven't used any of these with specialty vinyl, only standard glossy. Thanks for sharing your experience with us! ---Becky
Hello...I have a serious allergy to adhesives that just started about a year ago. I did my very first vinyl transfer last week, and that night I broke out into serious hives. Was just wondering if you know if there was a hypoallergenic transfer tape out there? I keep jumping from one craft thing to another and fell in love with the one and only vinyl piece did. These alternatives are awesome!
My apologies I am unsure of a hypoallergenic transfer tape. Have you tried using the lint roller or the blue painters tape?
@@creativefabrica Thanks, no I have only done a transfer once. Now after seeing your video, I see there may be options I can use. I appreciate it!

I’ve used press’nseal and is ok but not my favorite. I’ve used Walmart contact paper and it is ok . I’ve used tape too and old vinyl carrier sheet too. Thank you for video
Great feedback Judy! I feel about the same, I still prefer good ole transfer tape, but at least these are handy in a pinch! As always, thank you for checking out the video! ---Becky
Please help me! I am just getting started with sublimation. I have an old Cameo and I am thinking of purchasing a cameo 4
The support from cameo has not been very help.
Will I be able to get the business edition with the cameo 4 without more money?
In order to get the business edition of cameo, you must purchase it. If you already own business edition with your current cameo, you can simply log in using your Key code. 😊
What did u use to make the decals.
You'll want to use permanent vinyl! 😊
Where do i get the stencils to transfer
You can cut them out on a cutting machine! 😊
Contact paper name brand has never worked for me, not sure how you get it to work!
Oh no! What type of vinyl are you trying to use it on?
@@creativefabrica permanent vinyl is the only kind I use other than iron on. I tried on different brands and it doesn't stick, just comes off. Oh well 🤷♀️
Duck tape shelf liner
Thanks for the tip!
Guess you can use anything if you are working with a permanent type of vinyl. Try working with a low tack vinyl for paint masks.
Have you tried using masking tape or painters tape? You could try touching the sticky surface of your transfer tape a couple times to make it less sticky. 😊
IF THE TRANSFER TAPE IS MORE STICKY THAN THE DESIGN, IT IS USELESS. YA, I AM MAD BECAUSE I BOUGHT A 50 FOOT ROLL THAT WONT WORK FOR MY NEEDS. I cut low tack paint masks so it will never separate from the transfer tape if you follow my drift.
Oh no! We're sorry to hear that your transfer tape isn't working for you, have you tried any of these alternatives?
I've seen this being a frequent issue with the transfer tape being too strong. 😞
Not sure if it's a quality thing or what. But I plan on using that grab n seal to see if it works 😊
