That intro hahah! Funky music. These Philips drivers are always so damn impressive... And it's insane considering they're 70s woofers!
Haha thank you ! Yes they are ! They take WAY more than 20 watts !
Beautiful speakers!!
Thank you !
Ah philips !! On est jamais déçu ! Elles sont bien belles ces enceintes 👍
Et oh que veux tu ... de nos jours on en fait plus des comme ca ! Tu va adorer la video de dimache prochain je le sais deja !

😉
Sooo nice! I love vintage stuff and these just kill it 🙏😍
Yes ! They are beasts !!
I love this Philips cone
Me too ! Typical 80s philips woofer drivers ... which can also be called subwoofer drivers tbh , they have such a low resonance frequency
@@LSandM-SpeakersFromEverywhere yeah, this woofer have a good cone excursion. Also I have two of this woofer + two dome tweeter.... I love them. I think that I make a sound/excursion test video. 🤔
@@LSandM-SpeakersFromEverywhere ok, but this woofer work without sound-excursion problem only in closed box.
Very impressive little speaker
Oh yes they sound really good and look beautiful
Those are AMAZING, I really enjoyed this video
Thank you !!
Amazing!
Thanks you !
Ohhhh!I really love vintage speakers😊!But why didn't you make a test with the box🙃???And also, i saw on your insta the foam rotted speakers from a blaupunkt tv,when are you going to make a video from them🤔?
Oh the video in the enclosures is for next week . I started with the what's inside because this one had an air leak so I had to open it . I took the opportunity to film the whats inside ... 2 in 1 haha. Yes I will ! Probably a small one which will be uploaded on a Wednesday .
These old drivers are cool. The low wattage ratings on them may actually be correct, because a lot of these get loud and have a lot of excursion on minimal power. Have you noticed that on many newer speakers, you have to turn the volume higher to get the same amount of sound?
Yes that completely true and I dont really know why ... probabaly because they were made to be driven by tube amps idk ....
@@LSandM-SpeakersFromEverywhere Yes, that is exactly why. Newer amplifiers are much smaller and produce a lot more power. A lot of the old receivers from those days only produced a few watts per channel! One of my subscribers pointed out that it wouldn’t have been a very big problem to produce a JBL charge driver in the 70s, except there were no amplifiers that could both fit in such a small box and produce enough power for those drivers to really be needed. Or really, it is the amplifier technology that is being improved more than the speaker.
Le haut parleur est magnifique je kiffe ce genre de HP hexagonal
Oui ils sont magnifiques !
Ahhh yess philips my uncle has a pair of these with a small amplifier and he ported it and its so punchy its insane i thought they were 50w
i’ve got a question, could you do a video on your best flatscreen tvs speakers because i’d like to know the best ones in your opinion!
I did a videos a few weeks ago about loewe tv speakers playing Neovaii musics . They are for me the best ones ! But I keep your idea in mind , its a great one !
@@LSandM-SpeakersFromEverywhere ok i’ll go find it!
Omg in the 70s they knew that we were going to have this song and that we wanna do some bass tests….XD jk…but actually for the time those woofers were really good and no mechanical noises…anyway have a nice night and stay safe cya😉
Haha yes that's true ! Old philips woofers were just incredible !
what's the type of connection from these speakers? I've found a pair a couple of days ago and it looks old, can i update the type of connection? to Xlr or Trs? or even aux?
They're DIN, basically a + and a -. You can just remove the plug, strip the wires and connect them to a normal amplifier
Are these the 6.5 inch version of the AD 8061s?
Yup !
MADE IN BELGIUM?
I saw such speakers in the thrift store yesterday!
Lol buy them !!!
@@LSandM-SpeakersFromEverywhere i really wanted too but I already got my DK-Digital speakers this week...
Better luck next time!
👍 smells and there are heavy
Oh yeah they're super heavy
This driver can can give good bass if put in the box
They sound incredible in the stock sealed box
