No not necessarily. Howard does wholistic review which means everything will be considered.

I'm looking to get into Howard as a transfer student also. From what they told me all you'd need are your transcripts. Transfer students don't have a deadline like high school students. If you are like me and have a degree, I have an associates degree in dental assisting; I was told that was a big plus in getting accepted. Hope that helps.

I know this is late, but how many AP classes did you take, and how many do you recommend to take in order to get into Howard? Im a junior and Im only taking one AP this year but I'm planning on taking at least 3 during senior year. Is it bad that I only signed up for one AP this year? Do AP classes have any significance in Howard's application process?

I have good grades. B+ student. I recently took my Trig Regents. And I failed. First time ever. But my exam grade was high because i got a 95 for the actual class. Do you think that would stop my chances from getting in?
Tinnys Town regents is only for New York State for the (advanced regents diploma) it's not even looked over in other states for schools as long as you passed the actual class and got a decent grade you are fine but if your applying for schools in NY it might hurt your chances depending on how competitive the school your applying to is (I applied for early action at Howard and got accepted and I still haven't taken the trig regents)
