I love how comprehensive your testing is. One possible suggestion: For the drop test, it might be worth adding in a base that has a little bit of flex to it. The test you're doing now with the nearly rigid base is perfect for testing the compressive strength of the glass. Adding in a semi-flexible base (which would mimic closer to an actual phone) would pick up the bending strength of the glass.
Thank you once again for posting this. The amFilm and the Spigen are typically my favourites. My only issue with the Spigen is that quality control can sometimes be off. I had a perfect install on the S23 Plus, only to find out later that there was a chip in the glass. Since I decided to go with the regular S23 instead, I went with the amFilm.
After watching this I bought the AmFilm one - first thing I did when I took the phone out the box was to put it on, so there was no need to clean any dust or fingerprints off the screen. It was super easy to apply and looks perfect, cheers!

There are so many screen protectors out there, especially for flagships that you can't help but feel a little confused, this cleared that right up. It's great that you broke it down into three different categories at the end but I just wanted to know if the Whitestone UV was worth the extra money. Especially compared to the AmFilm which to me seemed like the best one here. Also, is there any difference after applying these screen protectors in terms of screen responsiveness, display, as compared to the original screen? Thank you once again for your effort!

Phones screens should not be curved
On my last two Tmobile phone trade-ins, Tmobile store reps did everything they could to find scratches and damage.
So the S23 plus $1,000 retail price drove me to try a tempered glass screen protector, and I chose the Spigen Glas.tR EZ Fit to match my Rugged Armor case.
I then managed to screw up my first Spigen EZ fit glass by lifting the wrong tab. A learning experience, the second screen protector went on perfectly, and my $1k phone is now adequately protected from routine scratches and drops.

How easy is it to remove the protector? Thats my only fear in case the protector takes a dammage, wether i can remove it without glue or something staying on the screen.
@@Milan-cf1xemy first use. Never removed a screen protector that has been damaged or on for months or years.

I have installed the rear Camera Lens Protector, and have used the "SUPCASE Unicorn Beetle Pro Case for Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus 5G (2023), Full-Body Dual Layer Rugged Belt-Clip & Kickstand Case Without Built-in Screen Protector (Tilt)" - You recommended the S23 Ultra version of this case in your other video). This combination works great! I got the screen protector on bubble free, and the case does not make the screen protector lift or bubble. The buttons are very really easy to use. The only improvements I'd suggest would be to make the volume up and down buttons separate, and the access to the charging port a bit less tight. The kick stand works well. Hopefully it's durable. I'd still highly recommend this combination. The prices were great value.
For the Spigen GLASTR, is there a differnece between the EZ Fit and the Slim HD?
I have question for you, will any tampered glass will work for s23 rathen than just screen protectors?

Spigen GLASTR is my choice; best value for my dollar. I don't like the line left on the Whitestone and the UV is just a gimmick.

I am using the Spigen. It's the only one that I could still use the fingerprint sensor consistently and was easy to install on my S22. When I bought the S23, I went right to the Spigen again.

I think the important weakness of your drop test is that in addition to strength of screen protector we need to find out that the screen protectors are good dampers or not. In daily life, You may see some screen protectors that are intact while the lcd is broken. As mentioned in previous comment, it would be better to use a substrate which has same strength as normal mobile screens.

Almost bought a $40 screen protector from Best Buy for the S24+. Must have been the Zagg that's in this vid. Changed my mind at the last second and watched this vid instead. Glad I did because after watching it I went with the AMFilm for $8 and ended up with a superior product for a fraction of the cost. Thanks for helping me on this. Based on your results, it seems like the AMFilm is really the only option to go with.
I'm really wondering how companies figured out a way to solve the issue with the ultrasonic fingerprint sensor... Unless Samsung improved their sensor iteration on their new phones.

I'm hesitating between a normal screen protector, so the AmFilm or the Spigen, and a privacy screen protector. I have two questions if you don't mind.
First, does the integral design of the Spigen affect the front camera ? It looks a lot nicer, but I wonder.
Secondly, it's about the Ringke Privacy screen protector. Having a big phone like the S23+ makes me think that everyone can see what I'm doing on it and what I'm looking at. It's quite disturbing ^^' But I'm afraid it will affect the quality of the S23's screen, in terms of color, brightness and everything else that makes it one of the best screens around. That would be a shame. Have you noticed this kind of thing ? Some comments say that the brightness has to be increased a lot, for example, so potentially less battery.

The privacy screen is great but it also makes the screen darkere so you need to adjust your screen light more, and if you use your phone to watch movies or if you use it to edit pictures etc I wouldn't buy it, I just bought the clear normal screen protector from Ringke again, on my Camera I have Spigen protect lenses on and a Ultra hybrid S cover. I won't pay more for the Spigen screen protector when they're the same I can't feel any different it's just the screen tool spigen use that raises the price.
Forgive the ignorance, but what exactly makes the adhesive based screen protector better than the EZ glass screen protector? It looks like a headache to apply and if you accidently apply it wrong or you find accidental dust on your phone, how would you remove it? The whole thing seems like a massive headache for removing the adhesive screen without damaging the phone. What is the actual advantage other than less finger prints and less maybe more scratch resistant?
Typically the liquid adhesive screen protectors are the best when using them on phones with curved screens. The liquid adhesive may also help fill in slight cracks on the screen as well. Most of the time the regular EZ protector will be just fine.

I had no problem installing the protector. No bubbles or middle line. However these projectors are not as a good a quality as the preinstalled ones were. When using the s pen it leaves marks on the screen which dont go away and i was pressing hard at all. My note 10 plus was still perfect after 3 years

all of your fingerprint tests are made when the glass is fully clean. Unfortunately in real life 95% of tempered glass screen protectors don't work normally with fingerprint sensors. There are tons of reviews on S23-S23+ forums.

A little tip for the run off of UV Loca Adhesive on the side of the phones, hit the run off with some extra UV. It'll congeal and it's much easier to peel off that way. It doesnt turn rock hard but it does thicken up enough to be peeled off. This way if there's any adhesive that gets stuck in micro crevices, it becomes bonded to the rest so it all comes off. Else if you just wipe it off whilst it's wet, you end up missing the run off adhesive or push it deeper into the device.
Another tip, if your UV screen protector kit doesn't come with stickers to cover ports, use some dust removal stickers to cover the ports.
Overall I prefer amfilm's UV selection of screen protectors. In addition, their full screen dust stickers are amazing! I wish more companies had those. It's great to leave it on the device whilst you're prepping everything.

Fingerprints can be cleaned and Installation can be dealt with.
I gave everyone my favorites at the end of the video and I said I would be doing that at the beginning of the video. That’s why I would watch the whole thing because you miss important pieces of information that you want to know. Also the s23 plus doesn’t have an s pen?

Your forgot two of the best protectors: Flolab Nano Armour and Zagg Invisible Shield.
The Zagg is currently $50 here in Canada. There's no reason to spend that much on a screen protector, especially when only one comes in the pack. My wife has the Spigen one on her iPhone 11, that she bought when the 11 was released. It's still holding up well considering she drops her phone all the time. Aside from a small chip (that she cares nothing about), it's holding up really well.
I tested the zagg xtr2 instead because that one is supposed to be better than the invsishield
