    Wallabies may have one of the best coaches going around. He managed to wake up the slow to learn Northern Hemisphere. He knows how a Kiwi works and how to nullify them. As a Kiwi I've never been more excited for Australian Rugby. 💪🏾👍🏾

    I think the best XV is probably something like
    1) Alex Hodgman 2) Matt Faessler 3) Taniela Tupou 4) Lukhan Salakaia-loto 5) Nick Frost 6) Liam Wright 7) Fraser McReight 8) Rob Valentini
    9) Nic White 10) Noah Lolesio 11) Filipo Daugunu 12) Hunter Paisami 13) Len Ikitau 14) Andrew Kellaway 15) Tom Wright
    16) Billy Pollard 17) James Slipper 18) Alan Alaalatoa 19) Tom Hooper 20) Jeremy Williams 21) Langi Gleeson 22) Jake Gordon 23) Ben Donaldson

      I would start Allan at tied head bring Tupou on as the reserve, Start Hunter Paisami at 13 and give Hamish Stewart the 12 position, have Len Ikitau as a Reserve. Would have had Darci Swain start with Lukhan Salakaia-loto and Frost as a reserve. Nr 9 is always going to be a battle. I do like the side he has selected.

      @@rugbyitch Fair call, the halves are going to be tough to get right.
      I'm not a fan of White myself. he crabs sideways when he should pass the ball, he box kicks too much and he's *maybe* just starting to slow down with age?
      But he's experienced, reasonably composed, hard working, vocal, can kick goals, absolutely fearless defender, great agitator and he's got years of experience working with Noah Lolesio so I'd expect them to hit the ground running as a combination.

    Wow I’m surprised they picked the likes of Pietsch and Stewart over Tim Ryan, Cory Toole. Darcy Swain, Seru Uru, Jordan Uelese also unlucky. Uru should have played for Fiji instead, too late now. I think Nic White and Jake Gordon made the team based on past years, but the up and coming Kalani Thomas and Ryan Lonergan have been good this season. McDemorott has been the form halfback though. Hopefully they will play well this year. I’m glad to see Daugunu, Wilson, Lolesio and Wright back in the team. I remember so many talking trash about Lolesio last year when I said he was Aussies best 10. Hopefully his form with the Brumbies this year has shut that up.

      @ToaPasefika Před 5 dny

      As a staunch All Blacks fan, I don't believe Uelese and Fa'amausili should ever be considered for the Australian team in the first place. Just because they're Samoan forwards (like me) doesn't automatically qualify them. They haven't proven themselves at that elite level from day one. And I'm pleased that Schmidt appears to see or agree with this assessment. There are definitely stronger players in their positions who are more deserving. And I'm genuinely excited about this new Australian team and I hope they succeed in international competition. If they manage to pull off a win against my beloved All Blacks, I'll admit, I'll crack a smile - but let's not go overboard, Joe, before I change my mind!LOL ~from a Kiwi bloke!
