    An actuator installed on the inner surface of the guitar back vibrates in response to the vibrations of the strings. The vibrations of the actuator are then conveyed to the body of the guitar, and to the air in and around the guitar body, generating authentic reverb and chorus sounds from inside the body.
    Three simple knobs let you adjust the degree of effect applied and the lineout volume level. Additionally, keeping the controls small minimizes the area of the holes in the body material, reducing acoustic sound loss.
    (A) Chorus Control
    (B) Reverb Control (Room / Hall)
    (C) TA Switch / Line Out Volume Control
    * Pressing the TA Switch for more than 0.3 seconds activates the TA function.
    * When a cable is connected to the line-out jack, the lineout volume can be adjusted by rotating the (C) knob.
    The reverb type switches from Room to Hall around the 12:00 position.
    There’s nothing so inspiring as playing guitar in a great sounding room - it makes you play better, longer and with more creativity. The Yamaha TransAcoustic Guitar recreates that incredible experience without needing any external amplification or effects, just the guitar itself. It’s the most inspiring, engaging acoustic guitar you’ve ever played.
    Amazing sounding reverb/chorus built-into the guitar with no need for external amplification or effects
    Designed to provide superb acoustic guitar sound
    High comfortable playability
    Made in Yamaha quality

    Great review Jarvis. I just ordered the LS-TA in the Sunburst Brown and your’s was one of the videos that helped to convince me that the effects on this guitar are not just gimmicks. Can’t wait to get it in my hands and try it out for myself. Thanks for the great video.

    I bought this guitar in October 2017. All I can say is it is awesome. It sounds so good without the trans-acoustic, I rarely use it. But it really works!! Whenever I play it for someone else, and turn it on they are astounded. GREAT GUITAR! Just wish it had a cut-away.

      if it has a cut away,... perhaps sounds will become different...... just wait the apx to have a transacoustic version.....

    Is this guitar smaller than the LL-TA ? At times you're very humorous.....always make me smile/laugh ! :-) This guitar sounds nice also.

    Hey Jarvis, great review but is this guitar the same as the ls16 (does it sound exactly the same as the ls16) when the transacoustic is not on?

    • @gerrardhart6040
      @gerrardhart6040 Před 7 lety +1

      Sambat Bhandari It's the same guitar. It's just that this one has a transacoustic amp in it..

    • @michaelbrohl1625
      @michaelbrohl1625 Před 6 lety +1

      Gerald Landhartz It does not have an amp in it. It contains an actuator that basically turns the entire body of the guitar into a speaker as it vibrates.

    Would you recommend this or the CPX1000? I'm in a bit of dilemma, I want to play something for my fiance on our wedding day and I'm searching for an electric acoustic.

    Nice playing, but this channel needs to improve sound quality. Perhaps that Audio Technica mic or your preamp is not very good. Watch the Korean channel called 원미사운드 he demos the same guitars and they sound fantastic. It's not the playing, it's the recording. Thanks.

    My advice:
    Always approach a girl with the "reverb&chorus-full-on-after-playing-dry"-face and you won!

      I have the FS-TA, the model down from this and it sounds terrific. The model that Jarvis is playing is a bit buzzy action wise, but in general, the LS series are great playing and sounding all solid wood guitars. Try one, you won't want to let it go.
