  • Wil Smith’s journey to the U.S. Olympic Trials on Friday can be traced back to Jefferson Elementary, where he started running through the Active4Youth program.
He went on to attend Sacajawea Middle School, then Lewis and Clark High School, where he was part of a state winning cross country team title (2017) and earned his own state title senior year (2019).
He’s set several school records at Gonzaga University, where he recently finished 12th in the 5k race at the NCAA nationals, making him a 2nd team All-American.
Join us in cheering Wil on as he competes in the 10,000m race in the U.S. Olympic Trials on Friday, June 21. The race begins at 7:27 p.m. and can be seen on the USA Network or streamed on Peacock or NBCOlympics.com.
