- To kick off the new decade, I felt the need to start off with trying to catch a limit of rainbow trout. Fortunately, everything went as planned and I was able to catch my limit in two short hours of bottom fishing. I decided to also try a new recipe pertaining to fish fry.

You can make your own delicious tarter... mayo, dill relish, dill spice, garlic salt, lemon... sooo good and a lot cheaper than store bought!

I love the videos but you need a treble hook remover, it will save you so many hooks. They cost about 99 cents. You can still get the treble hook even when it’s completely swallowed.
What's the name of the treble hook remover you use? In need of one myself.

Now disabled from fall in mountains up there in tucannon. So i try to fish more now since can't work. Keep up great videos

Curious, you run Exo packs over Kuiu? Can you do a video or share why?
It mostly came off of what I found during research. When I was in the market, I narrowed my choices down to the Exo 3500 and the Kuiu Icon Pro 5200. I went with the Exo because the design of the whole system just seemed better fit for me. Neither was perfect, but the Exo checked off more boxes for me. Another reason was because a lot of my family members run Kuiu packs and no one had an Exo pack at that time so I just wanted to try something new.

Dont get cold enough there for ice fishing?
It depends on the year. We've had a rather mild winter this year so we've had lakes freeze over once but not thick enough to ice fish.

You might also try Shorelunch brand Cajun Seasoning available at Sportsman’s Warehouse and Cabelas. I love it on walleye. It has a nice spice to it.

Yes, this was at 4th. I had to find a way to defeat that lake and I think I'm finally on the right track lol. I don't plan on fishing it anymore until this upcoming fall or winter as I have some other lakes and species I want to fish.

I hate that bread crumb. Its like a mouth full of sand, because of the texture.
Why you keep acting surprised they were gut hooked , since you were bottom rigging small trouble hooks. Anytime you lay your rod down and don’t feel the nibble it’s gonna end bad for the fish. Skill is acquired, not stumbled upon.
