The advanced English sounds so informal.
Advanced English: how to smile weirdly after every sentence😂
Isn't it kinda like informal??
I'm a foreigner so I don't know much about it, but what do Americans think when they hear about advanced English?
It’s an informal way to speak English I’ve been studying English for four years and I haven’t heard anything like this.
“Hey! You want to drink tea?”
“It’s not my cup of tea.”
😭
@@minkyawhtut09 mine
Bro - WHAT!
'Hit me up later'
'fill me in'
I hate my mind💀
Dude same 🥲🥲
🤣🤣🤣

We have the same mind hhhh
“Hey honey, I think we should buy a new car”
“It’s not my cup of tea!”
”I agree with you”
“Same here”💀💀
The fact that the advanced English is just teenage English-
Like imagine going to work and saying "Hit me up later bro!" DURING A FORMAL TIME 😂😂😂

"It's time to hit the books"

Fill me in? More like spill the tea
@@Am_azzie i didn't get you
I like how a person tries to overcomplicate english and make everyone the average English teacher 💀
Fr why complicate it when you can communicate easier
The point is to communicate not flex
Yes😂
Me : "stop sitting around!"
That one friend : "I'm standing" 💀
Edit : uh thanks...for the likes
Edit2 : never had this much likes in my whole freakin life.

On the last one "Give me more details". In advanced English you can also say "Sign me up"
sign me up doesn't mean tell me more, it's more like wanting to take part in something
"It's time to hit the books"
"Starts to hit the book with fist"
"Hit me up later! "
" * starts to hit her * "
"Stop sitting around"
" Im standing tho? "
"Give me more details."
No, no, no
"Fill me in"

Basic English: Long time no see
Advanced English: I haven't seen you for ages😐 (that is correct)
I agree with you

In addition, it can be said that "We are on the same page", instead of " I agree with you".
You can also say "ditto".

Fill me in
Same here🤣🤣🤣
"Hey can I get your number?"
"It's not my cup of tea."
"Well........then, give your cup, so I could fill the tea in that"
I wish she gave context for that one. Usually “not my cup of tea” is used for not liking something. “Why did you not like the new marvel movie?” “Oh I don’t know, just wasn’t my cup of tea”.

The "I haven't seen you in ages" seems like the advanced one and the "long time no see" seems like some who does not know English that much
Nah both are 19th century grandpa lexicon, rarely used by anyone under 90
Seems like modern slang. Yeah. I like sophisticated way, but I use long time no see as it's meant to be be funny & brief.
For "I'll see you later", the advanced english is "I'll catch you later". I have more advanced english sentences, but for now, one is enough.
Advance English sounds so informal.
"Wanna go on a date with me?"
"Not my cup of tea"
I was waiting for this video.. Your way of teaching lessons is amazing. 😇

Jk - long time no seeee 😂
I was searching for this 😂😂
"Hit me up later"
Ok maybe i will💀💀
“Hit me up” is actually used for when you want a friend / lover to pick you up later for something in basic English
Me:hit me up later
Mom:ok would you rather go to the hospital or the cemetery afrer I hit u?
"Hit me up later" sounds a bit harsh.
How so? It is just a very casual way of saying "get in touch with me later". I'm a native speaker and it's a very common turn of phrase.
Wow, it’s not like we don’t know English but this is entertaining.😄
Mom: Who spilled the tea on the floor 🤼👋?
Me : It's not my cup of tea ☕🥺
Amazing video :)😍 you're the best !!
Thanks for watching!
Honestly I like basic English like I am not taking my time in my texts like Oh,no time no see!I would just rather type I haven't seen u
Simple is always the best
The feeling is mutual
Simple English is the real English
"let's hit the book"
my mom: what happened to the books?
Хорошие фразы подобрали для сравнения. Спасибо. Освежили память.
Basic English:I’m going to sleep
Advanced English:it’s my time to go hit the sack

Most of these are culture based, it depends where you live, like where i live we don’t usually say ‘hit the books’
I just love it ❤

I am ok with basic English...😕
Advanced language or slang.?
Both! An important part of fluency is understanding idioms and casual language. Schools teach formal language first which is great for communicating at work, and will work okay with friends. But casual conversation is an important part of language
