My sister Atufe Lydia, thank you for being the first nigerian who travelled to Ghana and recount every single truth about Ghana. Many Nigerians especially girls, went there, just because they want to increase their subscribers, they will be peddling lies, singing praises for Ghanaians. I read some comments where someone says that you were not yet born when Nigerians were maltreating Ghanaians,, if that fellow wants to lie to you, i am here to recount to you the real story.
Ghanaians in the first place are the first people that sold their fellow Africans to slavery. In the year 1969, Ghana was the first country that deported blacks, mostly Nigerians but spared the westerners just because they were having a large quantity of gold reserve, they mismanaged their gold, The westerners exploited all their gold, their soil remained empty, they became second to the poorest country in Africa. When Nigeria discovered oil boom in the 70s, naira became more powerful than dollars, more than half of Ghanaian population invaded our space in pursuit of naira power according to what they used to call naira in those days because of the strong value of naira, when they came to Nigeria, they came with all sorts of atrocious attitude, arm robbery, prostitution and snatching jobs from the Nigerian nationals by demanding low amount on any job that is contracted to them, counting on naira power according to them, many nationals were furious and were protesting about this development, the leadership which president shagari was the head was as well overwhelmed with what Ghanaians had turned our country to. They decided to send Ghanaians back to their country, that's where the slogan of Ghana must go took it's effect, that might be the payback of what they did to us in 1969, I don't know much but what is important is that they are the first to treat us that way. Now, coming to the reasons why Nigerians are in Ghana are because of two reasons. (1) Nigerians of Igbo extractions are business minded people, they are travellers by nature, they build wherever they find themselves, whether in a rich or poor countries, they always make it, but for the students rushing to Ghana is because of constant strike since buhari took over in 2015, (2) the demand of much deploma before one could be qualified to be admitted to a university (3) education is not that costly in Ghana the way it is in Nigeria, apart from that, Nigerians has many universities of world standard which not every family can afford to pay for, go to Google and ask about the best universities in Africa. This is a pure truth. Ghanaians should stop maltreating our compatriots in their country, they have their own compatriots in our own country.

My brother, you have a lot of lies in your history about Ghana. (1) Ghanaians have the best formal education “Home education “more than any other African country. And Ghanaians started travelling to other countries in the world, since. And I tell you that, Ghanaians has never soiled their country with bad reputation. We were not born to that like. We have been structured Nigerians have bad reputation in the whole universe. Secondly, our gold has never ever finished one day. You are a big lier. We started going to different country just because those who overthrown Dr. Keane Nkrumah, we not able to manage the economy of Ghana and send the country into DEBT. This brought about Ghana suffering from “big inflation “. No commodities, no jobs, low salaries and Ghanaians have to go to different parts of the world for greener pasture. And thirdly,it not the question of the material that you have in your universities but, how your university certificate is valued in the world in the most important. In Nigerian, if your father have money, you can buy any certificates that you want. I have come across Nigerians friends in SPAIN whose Universities certificate were shown me. However, I have to do examination for them to get their “Spanish nationalities and drivers license “. Lastly, time has come that, your must accept the fact that you not better than Ghana. Ghana 🇬🇭 is blessed big time. Change your BAD attitude, fight corruption and learn how to elect good leaders so that, your country Nigerian would bounce back. But Ghana will be better than Nigerian till thy Kingdom come because, we the citizens are playing the key 🔑 role.

I think you lied about Ghanaians being arm robbers in Nigeria. I agree that Ghanaians moved to Nigeria in the 70's to work as teachers and unskilled jobs like shoe shine, but never as arm robbers. You should be sincere to admit that Ghanainas don't know anything like arm robbery until when Nigerians started coming to Ghana and introducing them into it recently. You also lied that Half of the Ghanaian population migrated to Nigeria. It was also a lie that Ghana chased away Nigerians and spared the whites. How many whites were in Ghana at the time? The policy affected all undocumented immigrants in Ghana I still have Yoruba friends I grew up with and none of their parents was harmed or deported during the repatriation order. There is Lagos town in the city i grew up, up to now. Ghanaians did not migrate to Nigeria because they sold all their gold and it got finished, you must be an educated illiterate. How come currently Ghana is the leading producer of gold in Africa if that gold had finished as you claimed. The Ghanaians that migrated to Nigeria did so, because Ghana was experiencing political instability due to series of coup detats in the country. secondly, there was draught that hit the country and there was food shortage across the country. I remember I was in middle school at the time when the America government was sending wheat to Ghana to help ameliorate the situation. I am not saying Ghanaians are perfect you may have few individuals who hate Nigerians for various reasons, that should not give you the licence to fabricate lies and saying things that are in complete contrast from the reality on the ground.

I was in jaimaica and had to ask citizen to haggle for me, once they know you are not citizen via your accent, prices goes up by 50% than what a native will pay. Try learning Ghanaian basic language to get you buy in the market like twi or Ga, so you don't get to pay more. It's not Ghana alone this thing happens. Don't take it personal. Plus the perception of Ghanaians is all Nigerians have lots of money. So it dies not help. 1. Don't enter a country illegally and expect it will be tolerated or entertained. DEFINITE NO NO....
    2. If you have Allergies to Law abiding behaviours and attitudes don't even boda stay there..
    3. Treat your host with respect . It goes a long way in fostering positive relations. "After all this your contri is small ordinary,"will not go down well.
4.Encourage other fellow compatriots involved in crime i.e armed robbery prostituion to name a few to desist from engaging in crime.

On the issue of rent, you have your own Nigerian brothers and sisters who came before you to thank for the high cost in Accra. When Nigerians started coming to Ghana in droves, between 2014 to 2020, they were paying Ghanaian landlords in Accra much higher amounts than the actual, in order to outbid their Ghanaian competitors. There were times when Ghanaian landlords in Accra were not giving their houses for rent to Ghanaians because Nigerians " paid better", until they realized that the "good money" they received from those Nigerians, came with its own costs. So you see, this is one of the main reasons why rent is what it is now in Accra.

I beg to differ but I think you are generalising and personalising the issue. We the natives do face the same issues pertaining to rent or buying stuff when we move from our region to another/ different region. Again prices are not standardised in Ghana therefore 2 people can buy the same product at different price at the same place or at different place. In all, the area and lifestyle you decide to live will determine how high or low your standard of living.

my sister, please in every country your ability to fit into the system is key and that can be achieved by relating with the indigenes. it's not about Nigerians. if I'm new in saye another city as a Ghanaian and want to get some few stuffs from the market or shop. if that seller notice I'm not familiar with the prices, he would attempt to double it. but if gets to know I have a fair idea about the prices, he wouldn't do that. if you were to go alone with a Ghanaian friend to purchase your item the shop keeper wouldn't have doubled the price. it's about fitting into the system first and everything becomes normal. friendship and relationship is key.

The inhumane way Ghanaians were treated all under Bhuhari/Shagari administration. And now the tables have turned, and under his own watch, many Nigerians are been ki!!ed by bandits, and can't find solutions to stop this. Many Nigerians are kind!!ed and attacked everyday. And his own Nigerian people are migrating to Ghana in large numbers even when the borders were closed all under bhuharigovernment.
We all have to be careful how we treat people because someway somehow, the punishment comes back to us on earth. What bhuhari is going through plus healthcare/cancer issues are not normal. And a taxi charges 4ghc.If converted into naira, that will be somewhere around N200+.which is very expensive to a Nigerian. And the reverse is true.A Ghanaian will find it easier to live in Nigeria when he/also begins to convert prices of goods in Nigeria into CEDI.

lol this girl I watched your video sometime ago however I have realized you are behaving like you need more views.Because you are a Nigerian they want to increase the price ? Let me elaborate this so you would understand. I n 2007 I quite remember Nigerians were those mostly living in Ghana most luxurious homes because of yahoo and other form of illegal activities. It got to the point the house owners had enough of these people…. Ghana is not for everyone and obviously not for every Nigerian. Before coming to Ghana you have to be highly skilled. With a lot
Of dexterity to enhance the growth of the country for your own benefits. Accra is the most expensive city in Africa… none is uplifting the price because you are a Nigerian. Just that you can’t afford it because things are cheaper and also your friends from Nigeria in Ghana won’t tell you the truth of they are mostly living in their own little bobble life… not to judge but remember most Nigerians in Ghana can’t afford a better home in Nigerian… and if they don’t have any skills, or whatsoever what makes you think they can afford to live in Ghana… Ghana is not for everyone and if it can’t help you… go to Nigeria or find better genuine work here that fetches money and also live a good life not just any kind of life…

@@gillandwalter7450 you can live here… I’m not saying you have to leave…. All I’m saying is Ghana is not affordable to everyone…. Just find a genuine job to earn you some money… if you can’t find any because no one really need your service… just go back home. Trust me a lot of Nigerians are making end meat from their dexterity prowess… just to rephrase once again…. It’s not for everyone to live on Ghana.

Pls my dear you have to notice this, ghana currency is more higher than Nigeria so if you're a Nigerian and if you want to buy something and you always compare in that way you can't live in ghana and one reason also is Ghana one cedis is nothing in ghana but if you send it to Nigeria you will see it big so don't buy things and at the same time compare it to Nigeria

Hi my dear sister sorry for some of the negative experiences in Ghana. I'm a Ghanaian living abroad and on any visit to the motherland, my cousins are in the forefront doing the bargaining of my purchases. The culture of the open markets expects a bargain so they hype the price expecting the customer to slice the price down. Make more Ghanaian friends so they can help you until you're ready to go by yourself - it's not just a Nigerian experience.

gyimii saa, ignorance is killing u, ask ur self the amount and average labourer earns a day and compare to Nigeria if its the same. My Nigeria friend bought a shelf in ghana which cost 13 thousand ghana cedis and he told me that money convert to naira is more than 1 million. So the constant converting of cedis to naira is of no stance. Convert the amount ur people are paying in America or euro to naira and tell me living in America and Europe is expensive.

Welldone! 8 over 10 l would rate your performance. 👏 l dont think it fair to always compare Accra Ghana to lagos.Accra is a capital city, enjoying the privileges of a countries capital compared to lagos that basically a commercial city.lt would be nice to hear from a Nigerian that lives in Abuja or another city in Ghana compared to lagos for a true reflection.Ghana currency is actually around 700 cedis to a dollars, that's is why things are more expensive and they produce even less than nigeria. The central bank and government knock off the last zeros in their currency and gave the people the impression their currency is single digit to the dollar when the real purchasing power is worse than the naira. The mosquitoes bit was very funny.😁 😂
