Demo on the modified tablet mold for use with the foaming soap tablet FREE RECIPE which you can grab on www.soap-chef.com .
It's Sunday, I shouldn't even be here at the shop but duty called. LoL Enjoy!
It's like a solid dish soap,, 🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤congratulations Thank You
I made them! I will test it out tomorrow. First of all, the mold is great! It’s so easy to use. I didn’t even need to tap or anything. I’m not sure what happened, but my mix was not powdery. And then each tablet was 14 g! So, then I realized I had forgotten to put in the citric acid! I added it in and it was so much better. It was still not powdery though. So, I ended up putting the mold on the scale and dropping in the mix to each cavity to make them 10 g each. I’ll try again. I think they will work out just fine. Thanks again.
It’s ok if you go over the 10g by 1 gm
Ty so much Lissa! I need to get a little bin like that I made a mess on my first try lol
Haha, I hate an untidy workspace. Everyone tells me I am the cleanest bath bomb maker. The tray helps.
Where did you get the former bottles? Love there tablets! Thank you!
Amazon
Thanks for sharing! Hope you are having a great day!!
Would you mind sharing what strength arbor press you suggest? Thanks! I just ordered your mold tonight!
Hello Hilary. I use a 1 ton arbor press I got it from harbor freight. We sell the replacements parts of the bottom plate and plunger piece on Etsy. The bottom plate that comes with the arbor press is extremely sharp and you could cut your fingers. The plunger piece we wanted to have a rounded and so that when you are using it on your molds, it won’t crack and break the mold.
Can you add a lip to either side of the mold to make it easier to de-mold?
It works fine. It’s just me. I have carpel tunnel in both wrists, calcific tendinitis in both shoulders and a problem with my bicep tendon on my right side.
hey that might help me since i already have a dry batch of failed bath bomb powder i can make tablets out of it :D
One more question! What size batch did you make in this video? Thanks!
12 ounces
