The smoothness is from the frametimes (milliseconds between frames) being more consistent than csgo.
Indeed bots are smarter and much better than real players, i mean, for real and its specifically for bots in deathmatch mode.

@@Gone29364 hahahaha nah, ik dw. I think dust is located in Morocco. I'm form NL so we have a lot of ppl from both countries here and generally aside from beefing between each other they also kinda get along well and have stuff in common.

The Play of the game idea is actually insane. Imagine seeing a clip of an insane play or clutch from both teams at the end of a match and if you don’t wanna see it you just leave

I like that neok was open minded for his first time and didn't jump on the bandwagon of instantly being disappointed and overly critical
I feel in maybe after months of updates or even a year and a half there can be good optimizations for low end pcs, but only in low seettings.
It runs on Vulkan and they added FSR so it will definitely run good on old PCs. Hope they update it to FSR 2.0 in final release so it looks and performs even better.

yeah actually source 2 perform better than the big old source engine cuz it's well optimized
I've been playing this game on office PCs since 2015. It runs really well on low-end already. If your computer is struggling then it isn't low-end, it's pure and utter garbage. A potato, if you will. Time to spend a few bucks.

i think the actual best change is that the flashes, even if you turn and dont get blind, they still mute all ur sound, which i guess will be used a lot in pro scene to sneak up into some positions or maybe even surprise peek throus smokes idk

as far as i can see they added trigger discipline to the characters. they don't have their fingers on the trigger at the end screen which was driving my anxiety levels crazy before.

There are a lot of options in graphic settings for performance so I dont think people with low budget system(like me) need to worry and surely the experience will be much more smoother than csgo

the only thing they did wrong with the smoke is that the grenade disappears after throwing it, but if you nade you smoke disappears and comes back... but from what? they should let the smoke grenade stay on the ground until the smoke totally fades that way the smoke doesnt appear from nothing after nading it

1:15 I assume this is because in CSGO the frame pacing / frame times on lower fps are complete trash, thats why most pros play at like 300+fps for a smoother experience. Surely youve noticed 60fps in csgo feels bad compared to any other shooter. I heard CS2 uses Vulkan / DirectX12, and i assume source 2 has better frame times overall which will lead to a smoother experience
I dont know if i explained it well enough, someone more knowledgeable can probably chime in
and the lag when you kill i assume is because of the subtick system. From what it looks like its still 64 tick but with the subtick system. Volvo already explained it, but to add to it, now when you do an action thats in between a "tick" where time doesnt exist, it will flag that action and send it to the server for when the next tick updates instantly. Thats why you feel a delay when you kill sometimes, because the server is waiting for the next tick to eventually register the death. I assume this is the workaround instead of implementing 128 tick because 128 tick is really bad on low end PCs, but I hope they just jump the bullet and have full 128 tick

1:14 Less fps yea, but frame time is infinitely more consistent in CS:2 compared to CS:GO, which is a big factor of how smooth a game feels. There was never any reason players should've needed 300+ fps minimum for CS:GO to still barely feel smooth at times. As long as you still get enough fps to match your monitors refresh rate, the lower fps isnt anything to worry about and is a smoother experience.
