I wouldn't be surprised if she has a psychological break and ends up in care in the next weeks. She seemed to be almost smirking as she resigned, as if she doesn't realise the damage that she has done. There is self belief, and then there's a psychologic aberration where you living in a fantasy that none of what has happened is your fault. Even with that aberration, it was probably a tough couple of weeks. But sympathy is limited when she could cynically sack Kwasi even though the top rate reduction was her idea, against his objections. I think it would be good for her Walter Mitty style mental condition to never be let near a ministry again. How long before the oligarch wives and Mayfair financiers turn their back on her.
