What about the beautiful monastery complex at Upper Thomson Road on the Thomson MRT Line. Known as the Kong Min San, Po Kak Si (Kong Min Mountain, Po Kak Temple). A much bigger complex built like a Chinese Imperial Palace with main temple, a large food hall (free vegetarian lunch are served on important lunar calendar days), monk's quarters, covered walkways with colorful motiffs, fish/tortise ponds, fountains, ancestral halls and a crematorium all on elevated land.
