Such a cool tank just bought the kit myself👍
The bottom "lip" of the main gun mount goes INSIDE the turret. There's a little boss there to hold it. Easy peasy, just hook that bottom in and then slide the top to where you want it.
OK thanks I’ll take a look at the instructions and see if they clearly indicate that maybe that’s why I missed it but I think you have given me a good heads up and I’ll take a video of trying that and I’ll put it on the next video thanks for theinformation
Hi James, Great video. I really like your intro. The Markava is looking great. Thanks for sharing, Have a great day. Jeff
Thanks man!
Dang! First time viewer here, just received my Merkava model today and to see you have just posted on the same day a few hours ago on the other side of the world is amazing! Excellent tutorial btw guess imma just go through your tutorial step by step now, saves me a lot of trouble, lol. Just an advice, when you finish the assembly of the model you should paint it, and you gotta try and make it an rc model too. You know there are electric motors and gearboxes that you can buy online to customize it to an rc model right? You can even add vapor or smoke and engine sound kits too, as well as a main cannon stabilization kit, to make it stabilized on the move. You can make a few separate tutorials on that if you're interested. Cheers!
Well welcome aboard hopefully anything I do here might be of some use. Of course keep in mind that this is the first time I’ve built this model so I’m far from an expert on merkavas lol but I’m glad you found my channel and I hope anything I do here might be of some use to make your journey easier
What is the glue you are using to glue down the etched parts? You say Amazon and quickly flash a product, but the label isn't readable.
Apologies for the quick flash! The adhesive I used for the etched parts is Super Glue Wood Black Cyanoacrylate Glue by CECCORP (30 Grams / 1.05 oz.) - Toughened Low-Medium Viscosity CA Glue]. It's available on Amazon and works wonders for securing delicate details. If you need more info or specifics, feel free to ask.
