- How to make a soft and fluffy Homemade bread at home. I always add sweetened condensed milk to make my dough smooth and elastic. This bread is pillowy soft and stay soft for days. Hope you'll give this recipe a try and if you do, please let me know and comment down below. Thanks you.
Here's what you'll need:
1 and 1/4 cup milk (320ml)
1 large egg
1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk (75g)
1 tsp salt (5g)
1 tablespoon instant yeast (10g)
4 cups bread flour or all purpose flour (500g) plus more for the counter
1/4 cup unsalted butter (55g)
-You can add more sugar if you want a sweeter bread.
-Bake in a preheated oven at 170C/340F for convection or 180C/350F for conventional for 25 minutes.

I love watching your videos how ever I got diagnosed with congestive heart failure in October last year so am suppose to be on a low to no sodium diet. I was wondering if you have any that would still be just as good and fluffy recipes for such a thing. Lots I've tried are so stiff.

I've made a few of your recipes, the result is usually pretty good, but I can never get my dough to rise as much as yours. What mistake do you think I'm making?
Hi darling, thanks for trying out my new recipe. I hope you tested your yeast before using it. I hope you did not heat your milk before adding to the recipe. Too much heat from your liquids can kill the yeast. Please proof it in a warm place too. And one more thing, please don’t add to much flour while kneading it. Hope that helps on your next baking.😊

Doing this as we speak and my dough is not soft at all. I used all purpose flour- what could I have done wrong? I followed step by step too??
Use bread flour
Even when i follow steps one by one still my dough turns out sticky way too sticky, dont know what to do 😤

The bread does not rise that many times
Hi Adam, i’m so sorry it didn’t work with you. But there are some reasons why it did not rise.
-Yeast may be old or you didn't test your yeast before using it.
-The dough didn't rise in a warm place. 80F is just right for yeast to proof.
-You didn't grease your bowl or plastic wrap before rising.
-You added too much flour than the given recipe.

I had the same issue. I’m noticing that is DOES indeed rise just takes SOOOOOOO long so I’m hoping I can still successfully bake it after waiting so long for the proper amount of rising 😬
