It's funny - there are things I want in a trailer that this trailer does not have (oven, bathroom sink), and yet I would still give this one serious consideration. It's so darn practical and simple. Really like it.

The smaller they get, the more expensive they get. It seems ridiculous. I think they market test new ideas and tech in these smaller niche markets.
After all an RV is a luxury item. The smaller ones are built to a specific niche of the RV market. Making it even more of a luxury or an invaluable tool. So on one hand, if you drive a BMW suv and Don't want to buy a pickup truck. This works. When the average person sees these, they think...I could probably afford that. Then boom...sticker shock. Most of us have no choice but to purchase an outrageously expensive tow vehicle and then get a larger, more moderately priced RV. Basically the light weight RV is a convenience luxury item.
Agree! The tab isn’t much more than this and is outfitted with much nicer materials.
I was in like with this little cutie until I saw the bath room and the SRP. I’m 6’ 2”. I don’t think 30,000 is worth it for a trailer that I can’t use the toilet in. Oh well...

Perfect for a solo traveler. I would sacrifice the bench seating in the front to get a larger bathroom and refrigerator.
I bought one of this model recently and absolutely love it. Great for me and one kid. The couch in mine folds down Gaucho style for a bed.

I own the 14FL floor plan and tow it with a Tesla Model Y. It tows great, and have had relatively few issues with the travel trailer. It’s not perfect, but what is these days. Very fun travel trailer for the two of us and a greyhound.
That's one of the best layouts I've seen in a trailer that size!
This is a great little unit! I have two teenage girls . With something this size I feel like you could grab and go! Love it!

The interior layout reminds me so much of a 15' Serro Scotty from the '60's (except the fridge and bathroom swapped, and without the blue/black spatter paint!) The plywood trim board on the rear seating area just slides out to make the bed.
I agree with Tina. I've been looking for something very small but non hybrid. I've got a 1/2 thumb pick up that can easily toe a lot more, but I wantna be able to get into every National Park. Plus with the new ZR2 coming out, this fits in with the tow ratings. Lol
This floor plan is PERFECT! All we want is a place to sleep, with another bunk (or 2?!?) for the kids. Somewhere to get out of the rain, but without the hassle of a canvas popup.

I got one last October, it's just me and works great for my needs towing with chevy Colorado v6 averages 15 to 18 mpg very happy with it

This is such a cool little trailer. It’s built well and has everything you need for one or two people and even a couple with one or two small kids

Honeycomb composite flooring is used in aircraft due to being strong and lightweight.

Neat little trailer. They offer it with two other floorplans in addition to this one with similar features.
One interesting note on the website for it - there is a big "will void warranty" note forbidding use of a weight distribution or swap-control hitch. My guess is due to the aluminum frame. Personally, I'd want a sway control hitch if towing this behind something smaller, but still well within the towing capacity.

Good review. I like the simplicity, low weight and the room. Also it has opportunity for custom improvements, not that you would want to buy a new trailer just to modify it. I think it needs a box or cover on the front for battery and propane tank.
I agree. Today people steal your batteries out from under you. One needs a metal box to safeguard those wanted items.

This is awesome.
I used a 2023 model for about one week in Sep 2022. Here is my review. First, I love the design and specs - that's why we bought it. The build quality however, gave me concern. If you are laying down your money please check for these issues or be prepared to DIY some fixes. They must have been racing to build these things as fast as possible because there were so many little issues that bothered me. Wood screws missing their targets resulted in loose interior components. Fixture of the facing board on the overhead bunk was no where near strong enough and the screws pulled out after 2 uses. Corner moldings were cut off and not painted - so showing bare wood. Self tapping screws that held one of the window panels together totally missed and the ends were protruding through the window opening. The wiring installs were pretty bad - conduit installed and then wires not run through them and wiring hanging down below the trailer (not a good thing for the off-road package on ours). The separate grey and black water discharge ports were a bit of a pain. And very strangely - the little aluminum bumper on the back of our unit would not fit a sewer discharge hose for storage or a bike rack. In the end we returned ours and traded it for a different make with vastly better build quality but 300lbs heavier and a little less interior space for about the same price.

Be ok for simple weekend trips but know way I'd want it for extended stays. I'd go stir crazy in it due to it's size. Do like the Azdel construction though.

I agree. A front window would really make it enjoyable to sit in the booth. Personally, I would love an oven.

1) Goodyear endurance doesn’t make 13” trailer tires.
2) Not a fan of the small tongue area. Having a front storage tongue box to keep all your outside setups stuff is nice.
3) honeycomb flooring breaks down over use/time.
4) the cargo weight is wrong on the trailer. Direct from their website the UVW is 1850, so you only have 650lbs of cargo!
It has a good floor plan, but couldn’t deal with the tongue area and flooring choice.
Who would really upgrade the tires on a unit like this? I'm sure you could get away with "early replacement" instead of upgrade...
Tire rack has some decent looking Hancook tires for $90 USD.
The 1850 includes the ac and electric awning. I have a 2000 limit but I'm in Florida so I'll probably keep the AC but nix the awning.
This is a great alternative to a “pop up” style camper.
(Insert a joke about needing at least a 3/4 ton pickup for this)

@@bwoutchannel6356 It should do just fine. I haul yard trailers weighing this much w a Jeep GC (6 cyl). Check the tongue weight and talk to the Toyota dealer.

1800 lb is outrageous for a 14 ft. I wish that Sport King was still in business they had a 16-ft fully self contained trailer at just a shade over 1600 lbs.

Great RV for a small family
Going on a trip soon, I need new tires. I wanted to get the Goodyear endurance but in my size or anything close they won't be available until February of 2022.
I just bought the wildwood FSX 179dbk. This is very nice but I don’t think I’d give up the room in my bathroom.

I’d put a larger frig, next to sink towards the back, pushing the bunk bed to the side pushing the bath to be bigger where the frig is originally to be a little bigger.

$27K!!....the profit margin on that unit has to be outstanding for the manufacturer....even with the light weight materials etc that price seems steep even if it were discounted...
When it comes to campers, the smaller it is, the more expensive it is. The Tab 400 teardrop is smaller than this and costs like 80% more. It is CRAZY! I swear - you can get a 5th wheel for less than a teardrop! LOL (Okay, maybe not. But almost.)

Looking for something to tow with my '19 4Runner w/ 5000 lb tow capacity.
The limiter with the 4Runner would prob be the hitch weight of a travel trailer as the payload of the truck is only 780 lbs.

A wet bath makes more sense in a trailer, no matter how big the trailer is. Every square foot in precious.

That trailer weighs 200 lbs less than my pop-up.
Something like this is exactly what I "need" (okay, maybe it isn't a need like food is a need but it fits the kind of camping that we do). I need space for at least 4 adults and it looks like this could do that plus a couple of kids on that top bunk.
Don't think 4 adults and some kids will fit in this comfortably. I just got one.. 2 adults and some kids maybe.

well the msrp is way too much over my expectation, but love this kind of compact unit that minivan can tow.
I was looking at this for a 2022 Suburu outback wilderness with 3500 lb tow rating. do you think this unit would be a good choice and other suggestions that I should look at I respect your knowledge.
Tire failure & blowout is very low on a small light unit such as this. I can see upgrading when it's time to replace but no need to switch them just to get better tires.
The dry weight and cargo capacity comes out to about 3000 lbs not the listed gvwr of 2500 lbs?

It seems like you pay for the small, compact feature. Look at the tear drop trailers, they aren't cheap either. But this would be perfect for my 2011 Escape V6. It has a 3500# tow capacity and it weighs 3500# curb weight. ( 7700# gcwr) In addition, this trailer is well within the 30 ft sq, limit of frontal area above the roof line of the SUV.

Mr. BTBRV, Is there a toy hauler on the smaller side of things that would work behind a modern half ton pickup? Think a single person bringing a motorcycle or two to the track for a race weekend.
Travel Lite now also makes a light weight toy hauler.

Yea I'd buy a nice cargo trailer for 7k$ then put another 5-7k# into that tailor it my needs for half price it is a nice floor plan with the multiple sleeping areas

My daughter has the American Girl Doll Airstream camper. I mounted some wheels on that bad boy and tow that using my F150. That’s the lightest camper on the road today.
