- DISCLAIMER: THIS IS AN INTENDED FEATURE!!!
At least I have reason to believe so, otherwise the game would not know to place the second popup below the first. If there's code for it, it's intentional!
Why and how does this happen?
THIS IS ALL MY OWN THEORY:
I believe this happens when you combine an unskippable attack + a randomized one.
I'm triggering this by sleeping in a stranger hex while another predator circles.
If you sleep before the attack triggers, the predator will despawn- but be right back when you wake up next time.
By sleeping in a stranger hex (with a high %) you get an unskippable attack. They WILL come attack you, but the other predator is already in range! So when you trigger one (by woofing, or just waking up in the case of the wolves) the other triggers too.
I'm thinking this is only possible with wolves + something else.. at least with this method. I don't know in general.
While testing, I also found out that if two different wolf packs attack at the same time, you only get one predator wolf icon. So two predators of the same species can't stack, it needs to be different ones.
I thiiiiink triple attacks aren't possible, based on the fact (observational fact) that if one predator is heading to den BUT another one makes it there first, the other one turns around.
I've seen countless trails of bears and cougars that do a complete U turn when heading to den, just because coyotes (that run faster) made it to den before them and took the 'slot', I guess.
So, in short: Double attacks can be triggered if you sleep in a high stranger hex (close to pups) WHILE another predator is doing their circling, BEFORE the attack starts.
00:00 Wolf and coyote (Singleplayer)
01:22 Wolf and cougar (Multiplayer)
01:45 Two wolf packs
02:33 Pup and stranger wolves being friends
it might be because you're in stranger wolf territory / near stranger wolf territory? really strange tho :o and scary
2:55 yay the packs are friends! :)
Our profile pics are similar! Beautiful ✨
I remember you! I’m Temmie(WinguSan)
Hello Oswald how are you doing I'm looking forward to play Wolf quest with you maybe so maybe we can play together sometime 🐺❤️
3:58 Stranger wolves growling at pup pup gets scared and runs away
How rare is this? Also first comment! :3
To happen naturally? Very! I've only had it happen 3 times during normal gameplay. All other times have been purposefully triggered by me!
My brother had 2 attacks in mp
How did you get the stranger wolves to not attack the pup.
How do you fight off attacks? I mean... When other wolves grab me, it takes me a long time to get out of their grip, and you were released so quickly 0:51 & 0:52
Spam A and D keys very fast!! If you have a tutorials on (I don't) you get a popup that tells you to.
If you do it fast enough, you don't take damage AT ALL but the wolves do. You can see me do that at 2:27 (they bite me, but all the numbers are yellow- no red ones. I didn't take ANY damage)
@@thorn056 Thanks a lot! This is a big lesson for me
i do think in a way triple attacks are possible? it kinda happened to me in a mp round with a friend. a coyote and wolf den attack happened and then wolves came to fight for territory (we slept in coyote creeks) almost immediately after we chased the first wolf group off so.. unsure if you could call it a triple attack
Predators of the same species don't stack, so that's still a double attack display-wise; I did include 2 packs attacking at the same time in the video. I've never seen 3 separate species attack at the same time
i like to name the pack/dispersal wolves funny names like stinky armpit and chopped lipstick and stuff like that😅
man i miss playing this game ( my steam account got hacked sadly )
you can get your steam account back by showing them your previous payments for games on there as proof of account ownership, its a really easy process so dont lose hope
@@meatwad8016 nah i actually created a new steam account and when ill get a gaming laptop ill buy the game again
IS THE LAST ONE A BUG?...
It is not, it's just that theyre not interesed on the pup
Nope some wolves just aren't that rude to kill pups
@@THE-RANDOM-STUFF-I-HAVE i have years of wq exp, and most wolves only attack u when u are invading there territory, they will not be interesed in the pup but u and ur mate
@@someone-ek1thYup I have wq experience too and you're totally correct
Not a bug! Like other replies said, those wolves are only there for territory. They're not den predators. Notice how there's no attack popup even when they're biting me at the end.
1:41: what kind of map is this?
That's just Slough Creek! Bottom right area, a bit west of Gravel Fan
@@thorn056 thanks :)
