Poisoned carcs are my favorite ranch traps, one chunk can do so much..

This can only be done in Lost River DLC
Poisoned carcasses are one of the several traps that may appear after you kill cattle at the ranch.
Their spawn is random, I had to try a couple times to get it here.

For all those in the comments who are confused, this can only be done in the Lost River DLC at the cattle ranch. About four or more nights in, there is a slight chance that the rancher will lay out poisoned cattle carcasses to hopefully avoid not having to take care of you eating their cows again. You can take a meat chunk and poison anything around the map for fun.
Thanks, when i can log into my account, i’m trying this then. AS LONG IF I HAVE A MATE TO HELP ME HUNT THOUGH BECAUSE- actually last time i did it myself to get the Ranch Bandit, but it didn’t work. MY LAST PUP CINDER WOOD DIED THOUGH SO I LEFT IT THERE and i was wrong about my mate. He is just lazy and terrible at baby sitting. Silver is great with hunting, though.
@@Kat-hh7fz Mates can be quite annoying, one of mine ate the pup’s beaver I had caught for them. When I brang it back to the pups he literally ate it in front of the pup that was at like 10% hunger. My mate was at 80% until he ate it. Like, why. Lol. Ranch hunting can also be tricky in single player, especially with you mate. Good luck!
@@luna_wolf1629 i’m scared i just lost my progress on AE- nevermind i’m good (i was scared for a second because i had to download the game since it didn’t come up.. and frfr! Mates are so annoying sometimes. In 2.7.2 though, i have a mate that was FINALLY that red classic coat (i don’t own dlcs on my phone) and Crystal, my mate was feeding pups every second until it said “you bave trained your pups” i also didn’t get any attacks before. Is that normal for Easy on WolfQuest 2.7 Mobile!? She also grabbed the pup i was betting on to get to live since i suck at the game, GingerF and let DoveM somehow die. IDK IF THAT WAS NORMAL BUT MY AE STUFF IS OKAY SO IMMA GO PLAY NOW (or cry) have a good day.
@@Kat-hh7fz 2.7 mates I have always found helpful, I played 2.7 once again a few days back and the mates are much more helpful than the ones nowadays, sometimes it gets annoying when AE mates don’t listen. I have been at 3% health before in a bear fight at my den along with my pups and my mate just sat there and circled it until it fled, he didn’t bite once lol. Sorry if this is late.

Dude, I've played w you before! That's so crazy(': I literally finished watching the video for the new update today and this popped up in the recommendation. When I saw the username I was like "🤨🧐🤔" and then I saw the Wolf's name and it all made sense, haha.

How do you poison animals???
Trick them into eating poisoned meat. It can only be done in Lost River though, and you have to attack the ranch consistently to get the poisoned carcasses to spawn. Take the meat and drop it for any unlucky scavenger that happens to be nearby

apparently once you've snuck into the range enough times, the rancher will leave out a poisoned carcass. then just go find animals and lay it down for them to eat xD

im so confused, u can get poisoned on wolf quest? how?
In the Lost River DLC map, there is the cattle ranch. There are several nights where you kill the cattle and once you are four or more nights in, you have a chance of poisoned cow carcasses spawning from the rancher who’s goal is to kill you so you stop killing their cattle. You basically just take a meat chunk from it and poison all the animals of Lost River for fun. Let me know if you need more information lol.
