    I managed to get this won it on auction on eBay as I live in UK and the deck is new and unused and still in wrapping will be great for getting to know the directions I have the blue bird lenormand but did not like the rhymes on the cards thank you I am awaiting your book eagerly I am ok with know the meaning of the cards individually but struggle when doing combinations and think your book will help with this so thank you xxx

      It's a great deck. I also just got the Red Owl deck and I love the rhymes. Yes, many of the Blue Bird rhymes are incorrect. I never learned combinations but learned the core meaning (what I call the primary vibe) of each card from the start. If you start there, you can put any group of cards together and interpret a story! Between my book and my channel, you're going to master this system!

    Loving these videos, thanks Lisa as learning so much. I do have a question about Ciro’s scythe card please, as it confuses me. The blade points down but I guess to point faces right so if looking directional, would you look at the card underneath it or to right of it? Xx

    • @lisaloveslenormand6357
      @lisaloveslenormand6357  Před 2 lety

      Thank you! In both of his decks, the tip of the blade is facing right. In some early decks, and in the Game of Hope deck, the blad is pointing down. In those cases, it's facing the card under it. But, if you're using such a deck for a horizontal line, you can use the side of the blade (rather than the tip) versus the handle to determine direction.

    Thank you for your lovely videos. I have a few decks and the bear (and some other cards, actually most of them) is sometimes facing the other way or straight forward. How can I interpret my cards the best way?

      Hello again, Lisa! Now I can see that I missed one of your direction videos where I got the answer. (embarrassed) Thanks!

    @Lisa. The Bear on its own is a positive card.You say that with negative cards or far away from the significator it means envy and all that. What happens in a 3 cards spread (first card focus)like clouds+bear+ flowers or bouquet ? Would one negative card, like the example above , be enough make it mean envy ? In your book it says cards so I was not sure... Thanks

      @lisaloveslenormand6357  Před 2 lety

      I just discovered your question in the "held for review" list. I have no idea why. Anyway, in a 3-card spread, all cards are near and the Bear's meaning will depend completely on the question and the other cards. Negative cards bring out the more negative aspect of any card. For Bear, envy is one, but it could be overbearing, pushy, too controlling, using too much force, etc. It's all about the context! 🙂

    The reason I don't like the verses like these, or just words on my cards in general (its why I hate alot of modern oracle decks) is because I find they often distract and constrict how I can interpret the cards. I don't feel they're necessary, and I don't think they should be there at all

      I understand your sentiment but I do think they have a place in teaching. They must be quickly eliminated just you remove the training wheels from a bike as soon as the rider can balance on their own. I teach my students to make their own deck from playing cards and only put 1-3 core meanings on each card.
