it would depend on the horsepower of the jet ski. I definitely wouldn’t do it with less than 155 hp. If the jet ski was a 155 I would say u need to go easy on it. But if the jet ski was over 200hp and or a performance model u could toy around no problem

You should consider a deck cleats mounting kit and market it. Buying me one now, thanks awesome invention.
In case everyone was wondering, this is NOT a new idea. I saw one of these at a lake in Oklahoma many years ago and was shocked that the front bow could detach and be used as a party island while the jetski can make trips to the shore for supplies.
I had a Windjet that used 2 SeaDoo XP DIs. It had a battery, radio, Bimini, wake tower, and aux gas tanks cuz those SeaDoos eat a ton of gas. Docking in and out used to terrify my wife, those things had no reverse and with 2 SeaDoos it would haul ass in and out of the wake zone. I had to put on a trolling motor on the rear. That thing was a lot of fun but this looks like a way simpler setup.
Kinda neat you can go out play with jet ski and friends can stay behind and swim off the boat like a dock but the top speed when inserted into boat prob not much more than 30-35 mph but IDK.
How about doubling the space (width/length) and adding side by side WaterCraft on a larger hull platform. Remember seeing something liek that years ago years ago, but cant't remember who produced them. Controlling dual throttles simultaneously would need to be sorted out, but then you could detach and use the hull platform a as a base of whatever you could dream up.
Cool idea, but the problem here is the fuel range. The jet is already burning petrol like a Hummer, triple the weight it has to propel and you'll have to cruise around petrol pumps...
My Yamaha WaveRunner states that it shouldn’t exceed 600 pounds maximum capacity weight load. These boat attachments exceed that limit. I understand that the additional weight is floating and will drastically reduce its weight however you are still exceeding the weight limit that you are dragging it around. For $15,000 and up I think I’ll just buy a used boat and not tear up my Jetski. This is a really cool idea though.
If this is considered an accessory then all of those passengers need life jackets on at all times like a pwc. Not being able to reverse will make docking an interesting challenge...
lol. this is old school now! come on! kawasaki made this in the late 80's. but this version should be bigger with hp they have! make a sport and cruiser version! we all just want to get to the beach! i used a rescue surf board. big boggie board. and put coolers etc on it on a 3 seat yamaha. and did good to a beach with 3 people. crazy maxed out. ha.
CF Moto Z8 Hell just going across the lake can be a real challenge from waves in a regular boat. Lol I just see it seperate and having to yell hold on I will come back and get you.
