Bev is best suited to defend small guards. Suns 2 main guys are just that. This series he put up an all time defensive performance. Those 2 could barely score on him. Their game plan was whoever not on PatBev offense, basically running away from him for the entire series. And when they didnt, he almost always came out on top. Unfortunately they still lost and he had his breakdown vs CP3, so all this is forgotten and not talked about.
Edit: plus he was on the Clippers, so extra reason he was pushed aside. *no pun intended. But look at him now, living his renaissance. He plays the same game he did with the Clippers, but he is more famous and loved than ever.
