Our recent one-night stay at Simmons Winery and 450 N. Brewery in Columbus, Indiana, was nothing short of exceptional. As a stopover on our journey north on I-65, this Harvest Host location proved to be the perfect blend of convenience, natural beauty, and culinary delight.
The spacious gravel lot, with a total of four big-rig-friendly parking spaces, provided ample room for a comfortable stay. Maneuvering into the area was hassle-free, allowing for easy navigation and accessibility. The level and wide open terrain made entering and exiting the parking lot a breeze. The availability of separate tow vehicle parking added an extra layer of convenience The proximity to I-65 made it an ideal stopover for us, as we were looking for a peaceful retreat without straying too far from the main route.
The highlight of the stay was undoubtedly the breathtaking view of the sunset over the adjacent cornfields and farm, as well as the incredible food and wine. The picturesque landscape created a serene atmosphere, offering a welcome break from the road. As pet owners, we appreciated the warm welcome extended to furry companions. The pet-friendly policy enhanced the overall experience, allowing us to enjoy our stay without worrying about the well-being of our four-legged friend.
