Hello, Do you have a video with the device attach to a real car ? I am not used to theses kind of device and want to see this thing move free.
What about offering 1 where the cord angles straight down to unplug (without the 90 angle) for applications with limited space behind wheel.
I just bought one and I’m wondering why you didn’t design it so the spirals in the chord are larger and swallow the column and it just spins around the column and quick releases when you need.

Why that ugly 90 degree bend dough? Why is de connector so massive?
A tiny connector would not be as easy to release. It looks pretty clean to me, I don't find the 90 to be ugly at all
You don't want a small connector on there that would be more fragile and harder to actuate with gloves on.
The 90degree connector allows clearance depending on how close the wheel is to the dash. Probably not needed for most, but some will really appreciate it
90 degree to clear things past it.
The connector has 8-pins/wires in it and 'stuff happens' so it's better to be "heavy duty"...
