- Yayyyy I am so excited to give these guys (my feeder lizards - but they're pets) a brand new and way improved enclosure!! These lizards are from a tropical environment. This cage allows for up to 100% humidity. These guys are sold many times as feeder lizards, which is how these were purchased, but I bought them with the intent on giving them a "normal" life. I highly recommend pothos and types of philadelphians, as well as bermuliads. I own the reptile garden, I make Bioactive enclosures and Paludariums. I'm still small right now but with those types of plants they grow in high humidity I have them in my Fire Bellied Toad, dumpy, false chameleon, and even with my tokay and basilisk. Those are just a few. Your tank looks awsome honestly, those plants would help a lot they grow rather quickly and you can propagate them to use in other builds. Btw I love what you do and your hair dyes!!! I use them all the time!

Hey Kristen hoping you see this :) I am currently trying to find a good home for 3 leopard geckos I currently own and I’m hoping that maybe you or someone else you know might be interested. They are all in separate enclosures so they can be re homed separately. I never wanted to do this of course but I have very bad depression & add, which is a terrible combo and just feel like someone else would be able to take a lot better care of them than what I can provide right now. Great video! I recommend rinsing the drainage layer off before adding to the enclosure to reduce the dust, and it will add a bit of moisture.

Question: why Drylok it if you were covering in silicone? I imagine both methods would waterproof the background
If she didn’t drylock it, she’d have to cut all of the shine off of the foam (so the silicone would actually stick) which would take much longer then just painting something with a rough texture on the foam
It looks amazing I love anoles and honestly love to own them in the future! I have built a few bioactive enclosures with costume backgrounds, but have never used the drylock method. I have one question, what was the point of using drylock on the foam if you were just going to cover it in silicone? I'm about to get a 4x2x2 zen habitats to upgrade my bearded dragon and I'm going to upgrade my leopard gecko to a 40 gallon breeder as well as eventually having to get a big tank for my baby created gecko, so I have lots of opportunities to do backgrounds and set up tanks which I am sp excited for!

haha here, I'll link you. They're little lizards that come in brown and green (as far as I know) and they live in tropical locations. They are great beginner lizards because they are hardy, and cheap. They are often purchased as "feeder" lizards to feed to picky snakes, etc. www.rainbowmealworms.net/anoles/
