My apologies ESTJs, I made a mistake in my editing and forgot to include the ESTJ. Here is your section:
Here is a type that’s like a train with no brakes. They are a hammer, and they see everything in their path as a nail, a task that can be completed or a job that can be finished.
This can be a good thing for them professionally, but in other parts of their lives it can cause those around them to quickly tire of their high speed get-it-done attitudes.
Therefore, the most important habit ESTJs can develop is simply…wait for it…a few more…seconds…Patience.
Not everything is a race, and ESTJs who can learn when it's appropriate to slow down and take in information might find themselves avoiding difficult situations that their previous hastiness would have gotten them in.

As an ENFP in my 30s I can definitely confirm, do not wait for others to join you on your next project!! You can end up getting discouraged or waiting too long, and miss that opportunity. And also, don’t be ashamed! Yes we do try a million different things, and we learn and progress from those experiences. And we can’t expect others to join us or honestly even cheer us on. It has helped me so much to learn a bit of introversion and try my new ideas on my own. I think it’s amazing how we have a skill for including others and we want to share our excitement, but it just isn’t going to happen every time. And that’s ok, don’t get bitter and remain open to including friends in a project further on down the line when you have a more concrete plan or have progressed further! Keep on going, keep trying new things. It truly is an amazing gift to have our personality type.

@@fghsrgu1100 you don’t need to directly interact with people that much (beyond necessity) if you’re an Ne-dom. who wants to explore idea-taverns. Internet forums are there to exchange ideas with other people and so are quite a few other things that don’t necessarily require being in the direct, vis-a-vis presence of another person outside work and family/close friend hours and time. Everyone (aside from the most cloistered IxxPs) socialises a little bit but ENFPs and ENTPs really don’t need it to the extent that types who are more generally outgoing by-default do, IMO. I’m just getting really sick and tired of ENFPs being stereotyped as what they’re stereotyped as without sufficient acknowledgment of what actually earns them the title of ‘most introverted extrovert’ in the first place (and in my experience ENFPs are actually somewhat more introverted than INFJs and ENTPs 70% of the time). ENFPs are definitely one of the more misunderstood types.

I tried to tell him to slow down but he is stubborn. I stopped trying because he doesn't really respect me as a person. And I have troubles receiving advice from INFJ so it validated my feelings. 9:24 Yeeeah, I can relate. I actually really want a cleaner, more sustainable world, but it's important to use logic too. I've come to the realisation recently that, for anything to happen, I'd need to think about _how_ the world could be more sustainable, as in the steps that could be taken by myself and others to reach there, and figuring out how to use Te (and even trying to appeal to other people's Fi) to reason with others. Also, learning that things aren't as easy as your Fi likes to tell you... It stings but it's important.
I've had kinda a moment of that when you mentioned people not having cars being a bad thing... Is it really such a bad thing, even if transport links were massively improved, and the lack of cars means no traffic? If you could go wherever you want while simply reading a book, or playing games, or daydreaming, instead of having to focus on the road and get road rage over traffic jams? I take the bus, and sometimes the car with my family because they prefer that. Buses are *_way_* better for your mental health and wallet imo -- you don't have to deal with road rage, idiots who make you wonder how they got their license (even as a passenger, who knows nothing about driving, you can relate to that) and car problems. It seems so stressful to drive! I'm not putting myself through that!

I am new to being a manager. I was a manager over a decade ago, but had little power. I have been a successful leader of many teams I have little to no formal power over by convincing the members (and their supervisors) that it is in their best interest and may even be fun/career building.
INFJ. I over-analyze others and myself early on so I do not have to keep doing that each step of the way.
I have had a regular habit of asking others if something will work in the real world. Early in career I would check with technical people in touch with field practices with questions like, "how do I determine in the lab if this product can be pumped in the field".
I like to support but not to nag. Hard to know when repeat reminders stop being useful. If there is a rule which isn't followed, is it better to change the rule, make the one obvious exception, explain why the rule is important, or to say, "because I told you so and this is important to me and others in our company".

I think ISTP considering value and consequences in rule-breaking naturally comes with age. Up until my 20s I think I always had my fists up and couldn't stand to be told what to do. Now I'm a parent and consequences affect my family too, not just me, so I no longer fight for fight's sake. It's also practical, on an everyday basis, to follow rules because it usually results in a smoother day with fewer interruptions. One of my primary objectives, on an everyday basis, is to be left alone. So yeah, a few rules here and there (use the crosswalk, don't jump the turnstile, etc) are tolerable if it means I don't have to interact with some authority figure. Or anyone.
