Ο καταρράκτης Μανικιάτης είναι ένας πανέμορφος καταρράκτης 25 μέτρων που βρίσκεται κοντά στο χωριό Μανίκια στην Εύβοια. Είναι ένα από τα πιο κρυμμένα διαμάντια του νησιού και αποτελεί δημοφιλή προορισμό για πεζοπόρους και λάτρεις της φύσης.
Για να φτάσετε στον καταρράκτη, θα πρέπει να κάνετε πεζοπορία σε ένα μονοπάτι μέτριας δυσκολίας για περίπου 1 ώρα.
Το μονοπάτι στην αρχή ξεκινάει με έναν εύκολο χωματόδρομο, που συνοδεύετε από καταπράσινα δέντρα. Στην συνέχεια αυτός ο χωματόδρομος καταλήγει στο φαράγγι και η διαδρομή γίνεται ακόμα πιο όμορφη. Καθώς συναντάς μικρούς καταρράκτες που μπροστά τους σχηματίζουν μικρές λιμνούλες σε συνδυασμό με τον ήχων των νερών. Ο βαθμός δυσκολίας της διαδρομής είναι σχετικά μέτριος. Χρειάζεται προσοχή όταν θα φτάσουμε στο ποτάμι γιατί θα αναγκαστούμε να βραχούμε σε αρκετά σημεία, ακριβώς εκεί πρέπει να μαστέ προσεκτικοί γιατί αρκετές πέτρες ή βράχοι γλιστράνε. Τέλος όταν θα φτάσετε στον καταρράκτη θα ξεχάσετε την μικρή ταλαιπωρία, μπροστά στο μοναδικό θέαμα που θα αντικρίσετε.
Στο τέλος της πεζοπορίας, θα φτάσετε στη βάση του καταρράκτη, όπου μπορείτε να δροσιστείτε στα δροσερά νερά και να απολαύσετε την εκπληκτική θέα.
Φροντίστε να φοράτε άνετα παπούτσια για πεζοπορία, καθώς το μονοπάτι μπορεί να είναι ολισθηρό.
Πάρτε μαζί σας νερό και σνακ, καθώς η πεζοπορία μπορεί να είναι κουραστική.
Ο καταρράκτης είναι πιο γεμάτος νερό την άνοιξη και το φθινόπωρο.
Φροντίστε να σεβαστείτε το περιβάλλον και να μην αφήσετε σκουπίδια.

Manikiatis waterfall in Evia.
Manikiatis waterfall is a beautiful 25 meter waterfall located near Manikia village in Evia. It is one of the most hidden gems of the island and is a popular destination for hikers and nature lovers.
To reach the waterfall, you will have to hike on a moderately difficult trail for about 1 hour.
The trail at the beginning starts with an easy dirt road, accompanied by green trees. Then this dirt road ends in the gorge and the route becomes even more beautiful. As you come across small waterfalls that form small ponds in front of them combined with the sound of the water. The degree of difficulty of the route is relatively moderate.
